      I would add a tip to spread your clothing over multiple suitcases, that way if you lose a case, you don’t lose all of one persons possessions, and everyone has a little of something! X

    Your food suitcase is brilliant- I would never have thought of taking wine in the hold luggage! You are right though as last time we went I only took teabags & we ended up spending about $300 in Walmart for a family of 6 (2 adults, 4 kids). Even then we had to top-up by the 2nd week. Legitimately curious how much something like pasta or other food stocks cost in Britain that it would make it worthwhile to bring it with you as opposed to buying it from Walmart or Publix because it is very cheap or if you aren’t brand conscious, places like Publix have bogo deals that make certain food items very affordable?

  • @annavaneck_

    New sub here, great vlog. Premium Economy is great, when you book early they don't cost much more then Economy. I also bring food with me even if they have the same, like Nutella, because the taste is diffrent and it's with more sugar. I also pack 2-3 bottles of water so I have some nice icecold water while waiting on the rental car.
    Dollar Tree or 5 below is a good place to go for cheap tabs and also snacks.
    I also bring my own shampoo and body wash.
    Don't you have annual passes of you go 3 times a year?

      But you’re on holiday! I always say to myself if I’m doing it I’m doing it properly, I’m not rich but the last thing I want to do is think about money on holiday….dont we all do enough of that the most of the time when we’re at home !

      Yes it is but when your on a 23 night trip and in the theme parks pretty much every day how many Mickey bars and cookies does anyone want to eat ?? Plus we never said we don’t buy treats in the parks or supermarket because we do , we take snacks for our children who don’t really like the american treats

    • @MiaL5769
      @MiaL5769 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@Britfam. Very correct, love your idea of bringing your own food, the prices in America are outrageous, especially because you either get a giant portion that your not going to finish, or you get a tiny amount. The glow sticks are an amazing idea, as you guys said $30 for a necklace is absolutely sick, especially with children, it soon adds up to $60 or over.
