History of his life, knowledge of his weaknesses, his motives for why he seeks Tatyana. Stuff that we may know out of the game but informs the characters in the story (who are often level 1 scrubs) how to kill a seemingly immortal vampire. This is the Knowledge of the Ancients that Madam Eva spoke of. - A Sunblade/THE Sunsword, basically a weapon of pure sunlight that is a vampire killer. It sheds sunlight which stops vampire’s healing factor and deals extra damage to undead when it hits them. This is the Sword that Madam Eva spake of. - The Amulet of Ravenkind is a very powerful Anti-Undead tool used for three purposes only Clerics and Paladins can use- One is to use Hold Person on Vampires (which they save at disadvantage); another is to use a more powerful Turn Undead (again, save at disadvantage); and the last is to produce sunlight (see the Sunsword). This is the Icon. You understand now why Ezmerelda, a famed monster Hunter currently after a powerful vampire, would nearly be ready to cream herself when the party stumbles upon these items?
My group has a specific section in their notebook called "Barovia - Bachelor Edition" where they detail various romantic interests in a very complicated graph documented with Arrows pointing between npc's and PC's and its hilarious. I think this group needs one too (: Another amazing Episode, thank you guys so much!!!!!!!!
Okay now my brain is shipping Caoimhe and Lilissen and it won't stop because that whole talk between them was just adorable.
