In Indian good highways,you can constantly cruise 65-70/h speed in this bike.That is enough for your safety. In case of handling and engine refinement,no one can beat Yamaha in this segment. One thing,I miss very much,that is gear position indicator. Otherwise,it is the best bike for me in 150-160 cc segment.
In terms of refinement xblade is better than this motorcycle...Honda is known for his refinement and reliability
PS-I am not trying to say anything against yamaha because we all know how good yamaha is..
gixxer has best in class handling and refinement

Just don't listen to shit people in comment section. The bike is super good if you're looking for comfort, mileage, engine refinement, good looks, sustainable engine yaa the power is bit less but enough for you are not an much of power oriented guy
I own an Yamaha FZ V3 2022 model almost done 9k km in 11 month.
Bike is very damn refined, it's very light weight compared to its compitition and also am getting a mileage of 62kml in highway and around 56 in city.
Bike is super stable in high-speed and also feels stable while cornering
Cons : this bike feels more of a plastic and build quality is not good especially the tank part
And also bike produces very less power.
But overall it's a very good city commuter and also be used for occasional long rides.
But service centres are very bad. They dont do good Services

Bought the previous version on 1st September. Have rode it for almost 4k km and I am satisfied with it. The refinement of the engine is amazing. Minimal vibrations. Really good gear box. Power is definitely less when compared to its competitors but the bike cruises at 80 - 85 on highway pretty comfortably. As my main purpose was commuting in city, I'm happy with it.
Love from Gujarat! I believe Yamaha starts putting work into bringing 300+CC motorcycles in India, a lot of interested buyers will be available. The old and trusted 150/250CC Yamaha engine is getting boring now.

Gem of an engine for its usability & long term reliability ❤.. The beauty of a Yamaha bike will show after 2yrs of ownership unlike other brands.. Yamahas engines just go on to be silky smooth over time & just can be rough used with minimum wear tear 👌.. Adding on is sprocket-chain & other mechanical compenents' long term reliability..

I've seen , bike manufacturers constantly giving shitty updates to hike the price , without increasing the power and torque. From 2017 (98000 on road) --> 2022 (1.50 lakh onroad) without any power upgrade..
I think indian government should Put MRP for bike segment, because these bike manufacturers are increasing price in every 3 months without giving any power upgrade, it's a major concern. For example they increased R15 price from 2017 (1.38 lakh onroad) --> 2023 (2.40 lakh onroad).. Bike manufacturers become greedy.

I bought it today and just with the ride from the showroom to home I can tell that the engine is damn refined. I am very happy with my purchase.
I have seen people riding FZ-X and I can say it's road presence is not good. Also, mechanic told to avoid buying as it's sales are less and getting spare parts will be difficult.
Pulsar P150 & N160 are better options

This bike is good for safe riders...If U are buying bikes with high power... Question yourself about Ur own safety...It doesn't matter how skilled the rider is....But Speed kills☺️...In two wheeler buying a bike with high pick up means risking own life.

This bike has the least power in the segment however it has low curb weight so power to weight ratio is good. People buy this bike for engine refinement and Yamaha reability.

This is just FZS V3 with a New headlight, lcd display, traction control which is useless for a bike with this power figures and named the bike version 4 😂😂. Yamaha: customer ko kya hi pata chalega

I have a 4 year old v3 fz-s. And i can tell you its one of thr best bikes in 150 cc segments. I had recently done a long trip of 790 km incl off roading. I've underestimated this bike. Yes the suspension is on the stiffer side. You can't lean on the curves because of the lifht weight it gets really uncomfortable. But the refined engine gives you that umph you need. Lower end torque is good. After reaching 7500 rpm you don't get that much power. But i love this bike. Now it comes with the traction control. So its will be much better for steep slopes. I can still go to war with my old buddy. Thank you Yamaha for this amazing bike. It's perfect for our Indian roads.

Maintanence is too high my friend has v3 and in 2 yrs he got lots of trouble with it...tank gap, shocker oil leak, chain sprocket failed after 12000kms

Better to buy the Xtreme 160r or pulsar p150 over this now . Heck you could also get a xpulse 200T 4V at lesser price now and if you are really after yamaha only then go for FZ25 base variant, it maybe expensive but its worth the money over the fzs v4 . Its a great all rounder bike for daily commutes and occasional touring .

Isiliye xtreme 160r prefer karta hoon main bcoz features, mileage, reliability, refinement, comfort, power, ride and handling, after sales service sab ka balance hai usmein.

i m not biased but yeah … yamaha is❤ r15 mt15 etc are gem and diamonds but but .. being honest this one is most useless bike braking handling acceleration nothing is best in class except for build quality .. spend your money wisely there are a lot of options 😢
Waste of time and money with this bike. They are built only for 2 years. After 2 you pocket and mind will be unstable. I own one and will not recommend to any one. Very bad experience with the vehicle. Very substandard product in the market. Buy something else not this. This is my experience and pain of buying this motorcycle. You are free to make your own judgement.

I think power is fine since this is focussed for city riding and gives good mileage. The addition should be of dual channel ABS which would make this bike a perfect choice for city commute.

Mere fz v3 me soft nahi hai suspension...10 saal purane wale fz ke suspension bahut soft the..khadda feel bhi nahi hota tha but fz v3 me soft nahi hai suspension...wo chod ke gadi bahot badiya hai
I set it to 2, stock set up is or was at 7. That's why it feels soft
