I bought a sample of elysium, the higher end one, and it is extremely different from the parfum cologne. It may be too high end for me, but it smells almost like a wealthy older woman's fragrance. I much prefer the parfum cologne.

To me, chypre extraordinary and H - black tier are the kings. Although I have oud triple set, but amber oud is too ferminine to me.

Yes. I wear it. I would say it leans feminine due to the fig note in it. A man can wear it too, if they are comfortable with a touch of sweet.

I’d say most definitely middle aged gents 😊 although it’s relatively fresh I get a lot of classical chypre in this one
