It's kinda scary how every person who makes a Fnaf Sinister Turmoil type game the Devs either lose motivation to work on it or Just stops working on the game for some reason, causing the game to die.
[EDIT] It would be cool to have a Fnaf game about a dev making a FNAF Sinister Turmoil game and he slowly grows crupt over what he's created. He gets haunted by the Sinister animatronics then ends up with his Ghost saying he lost inspiration for the game and discontinued it. Something Meta like that.
It's an idea, you should make that game. You have the template right there.
That’s very similar to the story behind TJoC but in TJoC, the animatronics are real demons rather than you going insane
That aside, I do still want to make a sinister turmoil style game so maybe sinister nights isn’t fully cancelled

"Why's the FPS so bad?"
That's a common issue for inexperienced programmers, known as "optimization". Most commonly, the programmer loads all of a level's assets at the same time, resulting in the program running subroutines and holding textures in memory when they're not actually needed by the player at that time. This isn't a problem for the programmer's build, usually, but it makes for issues when you attempt to run the program on any system other than the programmer's.
Unfortunately, the reason it's called optimization is because there is no one-size-fits-all answer. The programmer has to tinker and adjust in order to find the best balance between "hold the entire level in memory all the time" and "loading screen every time you change rooms".

I think it's supposed to be damaged wiring. There are no particulate effects in place right now, though, so you get the flash of the short circuit without getting any visuals to distinguish it from the lightning effects. Either that, or the level is reloading the lighting every few seconds, which is a rare but not unknown optimization issue.

I remember when I first seen the old Sinister Turmoil teaser images of the animatronics back in 2014 and I was very hype about that game coming out, the way they looked, really fits the atmosphere. I was sad when the development of the game got canceled due to the developers leaving. I‘m hoping and praying that the new devs complete it.

2014 is when the first fnaf. Fan games didn’t come out until around 2015. Yes those were the days and it gives me nostalgia. I’m currently making a fan game myself using blender engine and will be free roam. If you want to know more information

sinister turmoil sewers is getting a nice update! the map seems totally changed and there are little pathways that mangle can't fit through! could you maybe revisit it when it does, fusion? totally understand if you don't want to since you've already covered it pretty extensively. :)
