I have bought this lense a few years before on a Canon APS-C-system. Now I use it with a Viltrox-adapter on my mft-cameras. I love this cheap and handy lense for the extra wide angle and the unexpected sharpness for that price... and the gimbal-action is so adorable... Nice review, thank you. And happy new year ;-)

Really appreciated this honest look at this lens. I just picked up an EOS R with the RF 24-105 f/4 but I already have the 10-18 with my SL3. Trying to decide if I should jump up to the RF 15-35, get the reasonable EF 16-35 f/4 with IS, or just use the 10-18 I already have.

Most of the wide lenses have the best performance from F4 so I guess this doesn’t matter as much. Comparing to others you can attach filter this and it’s a good price tag.

Hmm as much as I love sigmas wide aperture primes, I’d say the low weight, cost and nice zoom range will be more convenient. The 10-18 is super cheap and really holds it value so I’d get that first and see how you get on 👍🏻

I think its interesting people complain about plastic when its a plastic mount, but don't seem to mind 90% of L lenses are also plastic. The metal mount of an L lens rips away from the plastic of the rest of the body just the same as a plastic mount snaps if you whack your lens hard enough... ;o)

@@HarvVideoAudioStuff The one caveat is that Cohen doesn't really take the reins for several years. Not sure what changes might actually improve things in the meantime.
The training staff needs to be completely replaced. Take my other team: the Astros. Their trainers and analytics took good players and made them great---several instances of this, especially with the pitching staff. Just the opposite with the Mets. Who ever on God's green earth thought that a FOOTBALL trainer was a proper coach for baseball players? He was just a crony from the owner's Michigan college years.
Letting Cespedes pack on muscle by weight training was criminal--- it basically ruined him and all that potential he brought to the team.
FIRE HIM! Baseball players need flexibility--not training to make them look like Incredible Hulk.
Syndegaard should have dominated the league. Fire them all!
The Astros show the tremendous value of great coaches and astutely applied analytics. Learn from them---with their talent the past six years the Mets should have had a half dozen Gerrit Coles!
