I bought this years ago when it was still in production. Bill Pierce had done an article about pros who needed a small leaf shutter camera to shoot outdoors with strobe. This was the go to camera for that. SLRs at the time had a top sync speed of 1/125 of a second. You could stick a Vivitar 283 strobe in the hot shoe and shoot up to 1/500.
