PRACTICE,PRACTICE AND PRACTICE.I promise you, it will get better,it takes a lot of time to play really well
1st tune it. ik it can seem scary but i use this app, it’s call ukulele tuner is helps sm and also it goes out of tune the more you play it, re tune it regularly 2nd PRACTICE!! i’m not amazing at uke but trust me i don’t think it’s sounds like a dying pigeon anymore lol just don’t give up on it

I found some chords and tabs on ultimate guitar but I can’t transpose cuz I’m on a phone 😭

I have a question! is it easy for you to learn a strumming pattern and stick with it throughout the song? or do you need to practice that just as much as the song? (bcos im struggling)
minniemckenna I’ve played uke for a long time now, so I remember how difficult I found strumming patterns, but from my experience just try and wing it. A good one, until you work out a better fitting one is d d u d u d u d or just a simple d u d u d u. If you just do it randomly and focus more on the chords it should fall into place
when learning a new song that you also want to sing with, first do just down strums. so like 1, 2, 3, 4 and slowly build it up
What I do is I mute the strings then I just practice the strumming pattern over and over until I don't even have to think about it.
i've been playing 3-4 ish years and i still sometimes forget strumming patterns haha
my recommendation is if you’re just starting out, don’t do any strumming patterns. focus on the chords and knowing how to play the song, then once you know the song then you can do the strumming patterns.
