I wonder how money is wasted if these hearings didn’t happen when all congressmen salaries and their staffs plus officers in other branches of government who attend these hearings get paid anyway whether they are in the hearings or at their offices. And private witnesses/resource persons are on their own. If anything the only expenses I can think of are coffees, drinks, and foods when provided free by Congress…which I don’t think will amount to a lot. And with these hearings, congressmen are only doing their jobs as representatives of the people to which they are elected to do.

My only problem with the quadcom is your questioning. Personal questions which has nothing to do to the with the investigation should not be done publicly.
