I'm glad Evie is ok! Please be careful and don't be scared to call 911 if you feel threatened and please don't ever confront anyone. Just drive to a safe place. We just had a road rage incident near me recently where a man pulled a machete. Thankfully, no one was hurt. 💜 💜💜💜💜
oh that reminds me, I had someone ride my tail super hard at night once so much so that I felt threatened. they were mad I was going slow. So I went somewhere around people and they took off. I guess they assumed that because I was not driving like a maniac like everyone else in central CT that I was purposely trying to piss them off so they were gonna get me back or some baloney.
I have an injury to my eye, a hole in the right side of my right iris, so when people follow closely at night and shine their lights in my right car mirror it really blinds me badly so I just have to go slower and really focus on the road. But everyone assumes every person is just like them, so...
It's funny though, if they just use some self control and back off a little, I drive fine and can go faster. The closer you get the slower I go. I mean leave the house earlier if you're late every day for work. You don't own the road.
FWIW when I'm in slow mode I pull over and let people go every chance I get. Those people who use their phones or go slow on purpose in the passing lane can eat a turd and die

That’s terrifying. Anyone who has ever had that happen to them also knows that feeling, plus as females……if we’re by ourselves if and when that happens….it truly makes your heart drop, because of all the stories….it’s just a scary feeling. Something like that actually happened a few days ago in the town next to mine in an area that I frequent a lot, and the girl that this happened to posted about it. Make sure that Evie as well as Brinley and Kapri have some forms of protection on them like pepper gel (better than pepper spray) and an alarm….preferably Birdie, it’s small and easy to hold and use.
Evie, keep your head on a swivel watching for people following you..even IF you've passed nobody and pissed nobody off. Someone can decide to follow you for any reason, I think this should apply to all people, men and women. I always watch cars behind me. Especially when I'm getting close to home or work. Glad you are safe. People are nuts nowadays.

You might be able to get hold of the police a lot of stoplights have cameras. If she was stopped they might have been able to catch whoever did it.

When I got my first apartment it was next to a college so there were parties in the complex sometimes. Someone dropped an egg on my car from an upper balcony and it cooked in the sun. That was worse lol what a jerk

I would definitely look into dash cams, one in the front and back. It’s very useful for situations like Evie’s, car accidents, witnessing different crimes etc…

When my parents sold the home we lived in my entire high school career, we had been through thousands of showings and everyone honestly was over it and had decided it would never sell. The day of the showing that it finally sold, I was at home and had just been through a very traumatic horse related accident and was VERY hurt, not to mention I also had my little brother at home with me. The house was a wreck, and I literally was on the couch and not able to do anything when the realtor called and said someone wanted to see it in an hour and a half. My parents called and said “eff it. You and your brother get on the golf cart and ride up the road. Don’t even worry about cleaning.” That was the showing that sold it. Moral is, there is still hope!😜

Wow, I'm so sorry that happened to you Evie!! had this same sort of situation happen to me once where I passed a guy going sooo slow and I passed going the speed limit in the passing lane. People are crazy!!! Situational awareness is so important now a days for everyone. People will get mad for no reason and will follow you for any number of reasons. If you notice someone following you, make either 4 consecutive left turns or 4 consecutive right turns and if they are still following you, you know you need the police. I hope you were able to get that coffee off your car!! 😞❤️.

Glad you are safe and nothing serious happened to your car. I had an incident happen about 9 years ago in 2013 where someone shot at my car with a bb gun when I was going into work. So, I know that feeling. Again, glad that you are safe.

I remember when I was 17 I was chased down the road at night on my way home from work by 2 guys in their truck honking at me. I pulled into a strangers driveway on a side road and they finally went away. Crazy!

Happy Evie is safe, that can be terrifying for anyone. By trade I am a computer engineer, I drove all over the city every day. I have had to defend myself on numerous occasions over nothing, one exactly like Evie, only at the stop light the guy attacked my car with a tire iron. Here is my best. 2 weeks ago I had an MRI at the hospital at 10 PM, dark, no headlights in sight. I am wearing a soft neck collar from a car accident, my 14th. Insurance just has blank cheques with my name on it. One more accident I get trip to Hawaii. 😊
Out of nowhere this guy cuts me off and blocks me with his car in the long parking lot lane leaving the hospital. I was amazed, he saw my collar and starts attacking me screaming he's going to "break my neck again!" Unhappily for him I am former Special Forces, I instruct police and security forces in urban combat as a civilian contractor. Good lesson to road rager's, ya neve know who you are attacking.
It is so hard to understand why people snap in traffic..... the occasional parking lot. I will admit I lost my temper in this incident, fuming over what kind of coward attacks a guy in a neck collar, coming out of a hospital. Someone he believes is helpless. OH and here is the kicker, the next day I get a call from the police, the guy was trying to charge me with assault. I told my side, and the security footage backed me up, so all good. That is a little longer than I intended. 😁🙏🙏

For example, if I was out there and see these two men in the pickup, I will pull over and say, "What's the problem? Leave the girl alone right now or I'll take you down with my baseball bat. Now get in your car and don't come back. Ever!" So, they drove off and go. And it took place at my high school in 2005. So...yeah. Stay safe, Evie.💙🌷💖👍

It happened to us one time in australia, except it was a milkshake. it was summer on a freeway. In 3o minutes by the time we were able to pull over. it had baked on the duco of the car and wrecked it.

All it takes is someones misconstrued perception of an issue to turn into road rage. Is it possible they thought Evie was too close to the front of their car when she was trying get in front of them? Needless to say their behavior was unacceptable!! So glad she is safe.

Well it's still better than what happen to my little brother's car. He had just got off work when he noticed that car had gotten STOLEN! This never happens where we live. 3 days later it was founded in a inpound lot. You can tell whoever stolen it crashed it head off. Sadly his car couldn't be fixed. Luckily the insurance had payed to get my brother a new car. Strange thing this happens just a day after this!
I can’t read cursive writing, because of this I started learning it at the end of 3rd grade but my 4th grade teacher did not teach it at all. Some cursive I can read but it takes me a while to figure out what word it is. There were 3 4th grade teachers and 2 of them taught cursive writing.

I passed a dump truck on my way to hike in CT, it was a dotted yellow line. He rode my tail really hard after and laid on the horn so I flipped him off and pointed to the dotted line. Where I passed it was legal.
From experience I think people get a huge ego crush or some dumb thing when you pass them and they freak out. Well this guy, at the next three stop lights, and I'm a 135lb woman in a cute Nissan truck, he's about 250lbs and in a giant dump truck, gets out of his truck with a SHOVEL at each light coming towards my car. I was terrified so called 911 and I think they pulled him over, they didn't tell me. But I pictured him hitting my car and windows with that shovel so I started going around people illegally to get away from him, like using turning lanes. Insane.
I always forget people can be like that, violent and crazy, because I would never do anything like that. I have to remind myself often so I don't invite more of that
like..my story literally sounds like something out of a movie where I imagined it, I seriously did not think anything like that would ever happen in real life to me. I'm sure worse is possible, but I've never had anything violent like that happen from a stranger thankfully.

I love that you said what flavour is it because I'm forever saying flavour. I have slight brain damage so I struggle at times with words and I think it was last year I was in town and saw a dog and went up to the owner and asked if I could stroke him she said of course and I couldn't think of the word breed so I said what flavour is he and as I said it realised what I just said 🤦🏼♀️ and quickly said I'm sorry I struggle with some words they just wont come to me and she laughed and so no it's fine that's my favourite question about my dog now 🤣 I can't even remember what breed he was now 😭🤣 my memory is awful!
