Awesome reveal I have the Mantle NY Journal as well,its graded by SGC I don't remember the grade but have had it for years it's a mantle you don't see very often,great card,love it Congrats Rick,hope to see you at Strongsville Staying with John(wade boggs fan)

He is a good guy. // I agree that any 1950s Mays card is cool, regardless of condition. The worse the condition, the more "well loved" the card was. 🙂 // I have also been assembling a Dich Allen PSA run for a couple of years now. (Just the base Topps run) I think I have almost all except for the 1972 & 1973. // The NY Journal schedule-cards are nice. I want to get a copy of one of those NY Journal cards one day. // Happy New Year Buddy.

Hi Rick, nice cards. The 67 Dick Allen is a nice card with the grey and burgundy color. It matches the Phillies uniform nicely. I am glad the Mantle game back with a grade. I would have been sweating that one out too. For guys like us, that is not a small amount of money to spend on a card. I am happy for you. Take care
Great stuff, Rick! My 54 Bowman Mantle got the same grade and reason. My guess is quality control and not intentionally altered, but who knows. Great cards!
