Sungwoon is icon of 'succeed in the way that not your choice'. He couldn't choose Playing With the Fire in position evaluation because Dongho chose that song as last member. He's being eliminate by his team member of Never team even he got complimented while practice for that song and getting pushed to Knock team and finally accepted in Show Time team. He's being pushed away to main vocal's Super Hot when he chose to have Sub Vocal 1 for Hands on Me song. However all of those thing guide him to the road for becoming Wanna One's last member. He taught us that you might walking in the road that not your choice but that road might be the best for you. Fighting Sungwoon!

samuel choreographed this really well. he put in a lot of the interactions we saw throughout produce 101 like: - daewhi and dongho - trouble maker chicks - ahn hyungseob's pick me - seonho and daewhi's dance etc. so props to him for making all of the members shine equally!
I mean he is just 15 (16 in Korea) and he made this awesome choreography for 10 PEOPLE to shine equally. AND HE DID NOT MAKE HIS WAY TO TOP 11. I just don't understand how this world works anymore.

I don't mean to be negative or anything, but if this petition miraculously succeeded so many people would lose their shit. Mnet would lose some credibility (which I highly doubt they be okay with), the korean fans of the show would probably go crazy because the members of the group should be chosen by them not anyone else and the trainees whose ranks were higher than Jonghyun's and Samuel's would be screwed over.

Cynthia Lee While I do put this result mostly on Korean public, I blame Mnet as well because: a) They made the final elimination as 1 pick, which everyone knows will screw over people like Samuel given that some people usually have him as either a second pick or an option for the final team. 11 pick would have been more fair to select your own top 11 and then the results would be I think a balanced choice. b) They revealed rank 11-14 near the beginning of the show, which caused all those who could vote to panic and thus text in to try and save those trainees. The live votes I believed counted for 7 votes, which is how Daewhi suddenly skyrocketed to 3rd (using him as an example, not hating on him cause I wanted him in the top 11). This meant that three who were in the top 11 beforehand dropped out due to this move. It also happened when they revealed 11th as Minhyun and thus he ended up in 9th because of people's concern he dropped. I think everyone was so focused on those five, that they forgot who could possibly be in real danger of not making it. c) I think Mnet utilized on Sam's international popularity and almost praised him too much (giving him and his fans false hope he'd make the final cut), yet refused international fans to participate in voting. Knetz can say that it's up to the national producers to decide who is the nation's idol group since they go to local fan signings and concerts, but if Mnet has already planned to take this group on an international tour or to certain events abroad, that's really shitty to say international fans should have no say when it'll eventually be some of our money promoting this group. All in all, what's done is done and people are upset. I think most of it is not at the top 11 boys, because they worked hard and I'm personally happy for them. But JR and Sam were played dirty by Mnet and Korean public. Either way, they lost two amazing talents by nothing but their own faults.
내 픽은 다른 사람이었고 하성운은 생각할 때 딱히 별 감정 없었단말야 노래 잘부르고 춤 잘추는건 알았는데 그냥 진짜 잘하는건 알겠어도 별 감흥은 안생기는 그런 연습생 있잖아 보통 원픽 말고도 다른 연습생들 보면서 얘도 데뷔했음 좋겠다 하는 그런 연습생들 있음에도 하성운은 딱히 그런 생각도 안들었단말야 같이 되면 되는거고 말면 마는거고..(근데 2픽 되기 전에 여러명 뽑을 땐 꼭 넣어서 뽑긴 했었음 소속사평가부터 개잘했는데 묻히면 실력이 넘 아깝잖어) 생방 전에 멤버별로 센터 선 영상 올라왔을 때도 하성운이 센터하겠네 싶긴 했거든 그 중에 보컬 고음 깔끔하고 탄탄하고 음색도 메보재질이고 춤도 잘추고 (원래 실력 좋은건 알았으니까) 센터하겠네 싶긴 했단말야 그때까지도 별 감흥 없었단 말야 하성운이랑 김재환 둘이 데뷔팀 들어가면 보컬 짱 탄탄하겠네 목소리도 둘이 잘 어우러지고 이 생각은 했었음 그래도 여기까지 와서는 음 이왕이면 하성운이 팀 되는 것도 나쁘진 않겠다 이 생각까진 했었음 근데 안되면 어쩌지 싶지는 않았단 말이야 그리고 생방날 친구들이랑 종강술자리도 중간에 일어나서ㅋㅋㅋㅋ 생방 보러 집 와가지고 방송 보는데 슈퍼핫 아니나다를까 하성운이 센터인거야 그야 당연히 센터하겠거니 하긴 했는데 문 딱 열리고 제스쳐 취하면서 도입부에 나레이션? 하는데 와 원픽은 따로 있었다만 진짜...진짜 그 때의 하성운 아직도 잊지 못하고 있어 개인적으로 프듀2 무대들 전체 중에 기억에 남는 순간 베스트5 안에 들어가는 순간이었다 음원엔 나레이션이랑 하성운 표정 없어서 무대에서 부른 그 맛 안나는게 너무 아쉬움 슈퍼핫 무대 본 이후에 와 하성운 꼭 데뷔조 들어야하는데 전전긍긍했던거 생각난다 내 원픽도 아닌데 안뽑힐까봐 겁나가지고ㅋㅋㅋㅋ 근데 또 극적으로 뽑혔어서 진짜 넘 기쁘더라 진짜 연예인한테 빠지는거 한순간이라더니...ㅋㅋㅋㅋ 워너원 팬질하면서(남돌덕질 본격적으로 한건 처음이라) 너무 힘들었어가지고 그렇게 좋아했음에도 가수들이 싫어진것이 아님에도 한동안 워너원이던 프듀2던 안보고 살았단말야 그냥 보면 좀 싱숭생숭해져서...ㅋㅋㅋ 근데 갑자기 뜬금없이 이 때의 하성운 보고싶어져서 영상 찾아왔어 역시 잘하고 그냥 너무 반갑다 2년 전 생각도 나고...

Hands On Me is a good song but it isn't hyped for it's choreo whereas Shape Of You is seen as the most iconic PD101 performance this season and Super Hot highlighted all the better and fun parts of the season.

so just because someone on twitter (who, btw, never linked a korean article for proof but somehow everybody decided to believe this without fact checking 'cause you all love kpop but hate koreans lmao) said this, you guys are all suddenly going to believe this? knetz have been rooting for samuel and i've never seen an article comments saying "we're not going to vote for samuel 'cause he's half mexican" whereas i've seen multiple article comments saying that they're so proud of him and that's he's super nice, etc. if people weren't going to vote for him 'cause of his heritage, he would have never started off with such a high rank nor would he have never dropped from top 20. knetz were equally shocked as inetz when samuel didn't get chosen for wanna one so instead of spreading false rumors on baseless accusations, maybe do some research first? it's getting really tiring seeing all these people telling "korea to choke" when none of you guys even cared about samuel that much until he didn't get into wanna one (and THEN you guys start talking about how mnet did samuel dirty - which they did but it's not because of knetz not voting for him 'cause he was half mexican.)
heysoph9 i think he probably was in top 11 before the 11-14 reveal. seeing how the reveal pushed 3 people into top 11 and sewoon to 12th. Youngmin ended up at 15 which means that he, along with Jonghyun and Dongho were in top 11 before being pushed out after the 11-14 reveal.

프듀가 아이돌 생태계 다 망쳤다고 하는 사람들 많고 나도 그렇게 생각하는데 프듀 할 때 너무 재밌었음... 슈퍼핫 강동호 메가톤바 짤부터 무대도 그냥 너무 재밌었음ㅠ 학교 가서도 애들이랑 자기 원픽 얘기하고 댄동에서 겟어글리 연습하고... 프듀는 내 4년간의 학교 생활에서는 빠질 수 없는 추억임 큐ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ
Putting aside the fact that I'm crying because of Samuel and JONGHYUN, this is my favourite performance of the night. Such a cute way to include the little inside jokes like Daehwi and Dongho, JONGHYUN sticking his tongue out, guanlin and seonho trouble maker, the jump in get ugly with the heart, the Daniel open up leg touch. There's probably more but thankyou Samuel for choreographing a sweet and heart warming fun dance that sums up this season :-)
they also use Samuel Show Time aegyo 💗 it was so thoughtful of them to include all the sweet memories they had in their Produce 101 journey for their last performance on PD101 stage... best choreography 💕💕
Maybe the best thing about this stage is the choreography. They managed to give everyone a time to shine even though the lines aren't fairly distributed. Even hyeongseob who barely had lines got screentime and a chance to show off. Tbh, mnet should pay Samuel for this awesome choreography.
I'm actually more mad about how they separated minhyun from his brothers in Nu'est than about the nu'est members' final rankings. I keep seeing videos of poor minhyun just crying by himself at the back of the stage after the rankings. Since they don't allow double promotions this season, minhyun will be separated from them for almost 2 years.... I really hope they can pull through together and maintain their brotherhood...
I can't stop thinking about this ever since the finale ended. I'm so worried about them :( hopefully their bond is strong enough now so they can work things out when Minhyun comes back to Nu'est. my heart is breaking TT

Minhyun is Jonghyun shadow while Jonghyun is Minhyun pillar. They support each other strongly in this show but now...2 years is a very long time. Mybe Nuest contract will even end in that period of time. Stupid Mnet...i'm so pissed.

etc. so props to him for making all of the members shine equally!

I don't mean to be negative or anything, but if this petition miraculously succeeded so many people would lose their shit. Mnet would lose some credibility (which I highly doubt they be okay with), the korean fans of the show would probably go crazy because the members of the group should be chosen by them not anyone else and the trainees whose ranks were higher than Jonghyun's and Samuel's would be screwed over.

Cynthia Lee While I do put this result mostly on Korean public, I blame Mnet as well because:
a) They made the final elimination as 1 pick, which everyone knows will screw over people like Samuel given that some people usually have him as either a second pick or an option for the final team. 11 pick would have been more fair to select your own top 11 and then the results would be I think a balanced choice.
b) They revealed rank 11-14 near the beginning of the show, which caused all those who could vote to panic and thus text in to try and save those trainees. The live votes I believed counted for 7 votes, which is how Daewhi suddenly skyrocketed to 3rd (using him as an example, not hating on him cause I wanted him in the top 11). This meant that three who were in the top 11 beforehand dropped out due to this move. It also happened when they revealed 11th as Minhyun and thus he ended up in 9th because of people's concern he dropped. I think everyone was so focused on those five, that they forgot who could possibly be in real danger of not making it.
c) I think Mnet utilized on Sam's international popularity and almost praised him too much (giving him and his fans false hope he'd make the final cut), yet refused international fans to participate in voting. Knetz can say that it's up to the national producers to decide who is the nation's idol group since they go to local fan signings and concerts, but if Mnet has already planned to take this group on an international tour or to certain events abroad, that's really shitty to say international fans should have no say when it'll eventually be some of our money promoting this group.
All in all, what's done is done and people are upset. I think most of it is not at the top 11 boys, because they worked hard and I'm personally happy for them. But JR and Sam were played dirty by Mnet and Korean public. Either way, they lost two amazing talents by nothing but their own faults.
진짜 하성운 데뷔 안 했음 어쩔 뻔 했어 기숙사에서 닭발 먹으면서 보다가 11위 하성운 불리자마자 닭발 들고 울었던 거 생각나네
내 픽은 다른 사람이었고 하성운은 생각할 때 딱히 별 감정 없었단말야 노래 잘부르고 춤 잘추는건 알았는데 그냥 진짜 잘하는건 알겠어도 별 감흥은 안생기는 그런 연습생 있잖아 보통 원픽 말고도 다른 연습생들 보면서 얘도 데뷔했음 좋겠다 하는 그런 연습생들 있음에도 하성운은 딱히 그런 생각도 안들었단말야 같이 되면 되는거고 말면 마는거고..(근데 2픽 되기 전에 여러명 뽑을 땐 꼭 넣어서 뽑긴 했었음 소속사평가부터 개잘했는데 묻히면 실력이 넘 아깝잖어)
생방 전에 멤버별로 센터 선 영상 올라왔을 때도 하성운이 센터하겠네 싶긴 했거든 그 중에 보컬 고음 깔끔하고 탄탄하고 음색도 메보재질이고 춤도 잘추고 (원래 실력 좋은건 알았으니까) 센터하겠네 싶긴 했단말야 그때까지도 별 감흥 없었단 말야 하성운이랑 김재환 둘이 데뷔팀 들어가면 보컬 짱 탄탄하겠네 목소리도 둘이 잘 어우러지고 이 생각은 했었음 그래도 여기까지 와서는 음 이왕이면 하성운이 팀 되는 것도 나쁘진 않겠다 이 생각까진 했었음 근데 안되면 어쩌지 싶지는 않았단 말이야
그리고 생방날 친구들이랑 종강술자리도 중간에 일어나서ㅋㅋㅋㅋ 생방 보러 집 와가지고 방송 보는데 슈퍼핫 아니나다를까 하성운이 센터인거야 그야 당연히 센터하겠거니 하긴 했는데 문 딱 열리고 제스쳐 취하면서 도입부에 나레이션? 하는데 와 원픽은 따로 있었다만 진짜...진짜 그 때의 하성운 아직도 잊지 못하고 있어 개인적으로 프듀2 무대들 전체 중에 기억에 남는 순간 베스트5 안에 들어가는 순간이었다 음원엔 나레이션이랑 하성운 표정 없어서 무대에서 부른 그 맛 안나는게 너무 아쉬움 슈퍼핫 무대 본 이후에 와 하성운 꼭 데뷔조 들어야하는데 전전긍긍했던거 생각난다 내 원픽도 아닌데 안뽑힐까봐 겁나가지고ㅋㅋㅋㅋ 근데 또 극적으로 뽑혔어서 진짜 넘 기쁘더라 진짜 연예인한테 빠지는거 한순간이라더니...ㅋㅋㅋㅋ 워너원 팬질하면서(남돌덕질 본격적으로 한건 처음이라) 너무 힘들었어가지고 그렇게 좋아했음에도 가수들이 싫어진것이 아님에도 한동안 워너원이던 프듀2던 안보고 살았단말야 그냥 보면 좀 싱숭생숭해져서...ㅋㅋㅋ 근데 갑자기 뜬금없이 이 때의 하성운 보고싶어져서 영상 찾아왔어 역시 잘하고 그냥 너무 반갑다 2년 전 생각도 나고...

heysoph9 i think he probably was in top 11 before the 11-14 reveal. seeing how the reveal pushed 3 people into top 11 and sewoon to 12th. Youngmin ended up at 15 which means that he, along with Jonghyun and Dongho were in top 11 before being pushed out after the 11-14 reveal.

프듀가 아이돌 생태계 다 망쳤다고 하는 사람들 많고 나도 그렇게 생각하는데 프듀 할 때 너무 재밌었음... 슈퍼핫 강동호 메가톤바 짤부터 무대도 그냥 너무 재밌었음ㅠ 학교 가서도 애들이랑 자기 원픽 얘기하고 댄동에서 겟어글리 연습하고... 프듀는 내 4년간의 학교 생활에서는 빠질 수 없는 추억임 큐ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ
Putting aside the fact that I'm crying because of Samuel and JONGHYUN, this is my favourite performance of the night. Such a cute way to include the little inside jokes like Daehwi and Dongho, JONGHYUN sticking his tongue out, guanlin and seonho trouble maker, the jump in get ugly with the heart, the Daniel open up leg touch. There's probably more but thankyou Samuel for choreographing a sweet and heart warming fun dance that sums up this season :-)

Maybe the best thing about this stage is the choreography. They managed to give everyone a time to shine even though the lines aren't fairly distributed. Even hyeongseob who barely had lines got screentime and a chance to show off. Tbh, mnet should pay Samuel for this awesome choreography.

I'm actually more mad about how they separated minhyun from his brothers in Nu'est than about the nu'est members' final rankings. I keep seeing videos of poor minhyun just crying by himself at the back of the stage after the rankings. Since they don't allow double promotions this season, minhyun will be separated from them for almost 2 years.... I really hope they can pull through together and maintain their brotherhood...
