How I miss my Xlch Ironhead, should never have let you go.
The 70's paint was usually just the tins ( we hand painted with rattle cans for base and then brush for art , lace overlay was popular ) but for the clean crisp look I think Mazi is right that frame would look sweet in that blue !
I always love the shots of the Golden Gate Bridge, and the trip into Marin County on the lovely old Pacific Coast Highway, Route 1, San Diego/LA to Leggett! I would love to see more motorcycle videos of it! The best part of Southern California! Take care, all...and ride Safe...😊...!
5 días viendo todos sus videos desde Madrid (Spain) Seguir así!!!!
Kick ass, glad to see you back.
Always good hearing from you guys. Good luck for 2023!!
Lookin good
🤘🏻paint that frame 🤘🏻
Blue's bike is looking good and the seat springs are much better on the 45, it's coming on well
SWEET
❤
Looking forward to the final build! Paint the frame! I used Black Rustolium to touch mine up in the Philippines.
I'd leave the forks just as they are -- length and all. Maybe you could go with pearl white with ribbons on the gas tank. I remember a guy in Weseley, Massachusetts and a few guys in Connecticut the early 1970s went with the aforementioned paint and design. The early 1970s NorCal style is always a great way to go -- nothing radical -- very functional design. Good luck, Blue. Thanks Yama.
I wish I lived where I could ride year round. Minnesota blows this time of year.
As usual I'm really looking forward to yet another build but why are you going to run a RawHide ignition? Dyna S is comparable yet is half the price or making your own Hall Effect ignition costs even less and is hella easier than building an Ironhead so it's well within your abilities.
Rawhide ignition is made in America and higher quality than the dyna S, we’re also friends with the guys at rawhide and would rather support them.
I picked up a 72 sporty basket case. Frame, motor ,and back wheel. $360.00. I can't really afford to go out and buy new stuff. Last weekend I took off front end from triumph and installed it on sporty for mack up. Trying to find out if a good idea or not
Black powdercoat for the frame would be fine 🤠
👍🏿
Fixed
no experience with that carb but my $90 chinese mikuni has been going strong for a year without issue
You know, I wish more dudes with Harley’s were into drift cars. I would definitely try and trade my 14 for a shovel lol
I know man same!
If you are talking about a s14 keep the s14! Haha build a shovel on the side!
@@947w0rks I’ve had it for so long honestly, kinda fell out of love with the chassis. It’s a unicorn. Bikes are just way cooler to me.😅
Hit me up on IG I wanna see photos of your 14! Haha @mazi.__
@@947w0rks Forgot to reply back to you, sent them a few weeks back! I've still been on the hunt for a shovel. Nothing but the same couple of stuff pops up
At least it’s a right side shift for fucks sake finally every iron it should be right side shift left side break in my opinion
