Really nice tree, your videos and trees inspired me so much, so i just bought me a small leaf ficus a few days ago and grow it at the moment in a bigger plantpot. But maybe some day when it`s getting a bigger trunk it will go into a bonsai pot.... Thanks for the Videos really enjoying to watch👍🌳
Harmless spiders eat a lot of bugs you don't want on your trees...Can also be an indicator of those non-wanted bugs, but they are a bit worrisome when they jump out at you...Tree looks good and the tip about the Saran Wrap like tape, hoping this progresses the way you want...Thanks for sharing...Sequim, WA...
Thank you! Although I'm starting to realize this one is going to be a veryyyy long term tree. Unless I adjust my vision for it, but I can't think of a better thing to do with it yet
You got loads of Benjamina. I am not sure if I misunderstood your idea of grafting but I think you need to get to cut the bark and "splice" in the small twig to get a much more intimate contact with the two parts than just squeeze it in between?
@@BonsaiBoise If you have the time am sure you can find a video on grafting bonsai which may give a an accurate idea on how it works, cheers! I was merely thinking loud without any research or true knowledge😄 .
kitchen plasitc wrap sliced in to smaller sizes works better then wire for fusing i found. cheaper too. i use a hack saw, got the idea from bud grafting videos lol. that wrap you used should work great too
Nice program bonsai thank you for sharing good luck Mr

I appreciate that! Those grow pretty easily from cuttings too so you probably duplicate it over and over to experiment. Thanks!

Yeah that could be why it's not working lol. Maybe I'll try that idea and see if it works better.

Yes! That's basically the same stuff I believe. I actually sawed this packing wrap in half kind of like you were saying.
Still a bush, but definitely making progress!
