When the potter scrolled the design on the plate with a stick my eyes teared up from the sheer beauty and simplicity of his talent.
Kara I can feel the emotion from the screen while you watched this gentleman create those bowls. Gosh I would have cried at such beauty. I'm so sensitive to simple humanity and I think going on this journey with you and Nate is what this is for me. Incredible!!

Wow. This is just... wow. The artistry this man possesses is truly incredible. I love how he takes that clay, from literally the earth around him, and within just a a few days he has beautiful artwork. It's so impressive. He makes it look so easy but I know it's actually extremely difficult, as Nate demonstrated. I'm so glad you took home a coffee mug, which will help you remember this amazing experience. Hopefully we'll get to see it in the intro VERY soon. :-)

I've only been in the desert once when in Israel, it looks very different in Morocco! You're actually not that bad for a first time, it's too bad you didn't have more time to practice! I'm sure you could have done a pot with just a little more time :)
