I am a Thierry Mugler fan . I started with Angel , my mom told me about it , who was a fragrance junkie also ( I got it honestly). When my mom died (1999) I sprayed it on her and myself it is always a heart tugging fragrance for me and I keep it . I love Alien and have 4 different versions as well as 4 different versions of Angel. I love Aura also.

I’m a guy and I personally wear Angel. I don’t find it particularly feminine. It’s definitely either love or hate but to me, where Angel shines is in the sillage. It works magic when it’s in the air

Same here! I have been wearing Angel for years. No matter how many fragrances I buy, I somehow ALWAYS go back to Angel. And you’re so right, the silage is truly where the magic is 😍

Both of these are intoxicating that’s such a great description! I can’t choose I love them both equally. Originally I preferred alien but honestly both are so incredible and there is something about them that when you run out of them other perfumes are nice but I alwayyyyys want alien or angel they are just perfect perfumes to me!

I’m late to the party as well. I went to ulta today and my favorite is 1. Angel nova 2. Angel and 3. Alien last. I love all of them though. I could see myself wearing Angel and Angel nova every day but alien is once in awhile for sure for me!
I love angel on me a lot of fragrances fade fast on me but not this one I actually purchased some from ulta and I feel so good when wearing it definitely two thumbs up from me!👍🏽👍🏽
Alien...hands down. It's bold, it's unique , it's just a show stopper.
Been wearing Angel for 20 yrs. Its my signature scent. A coworker wore it and I could not stop sniffing it. I love certain patchouli smells and the vanilla rounds it out. I don't like floral and sweet and most people pick up on the patchouli when I wear it
I love Mugler Alien, it's in my top 3. Angel on the other hand.. smells like dirty rain water with a hint of honey. Most of the reviews I've seen for Angel have been love it or hate it. I've seen it at a good price but I'm glad I waited and tried a sample.
I love angel been using it since I was 15 and I'm 37 and still use it takes me right back to Christmas round my grandparents house I also like alien but just don't grab for it that much x
One advice ,for better results ALWAYS you have to apply ANY perfume on clean skin. (After shower)..That’s the key in any perfume for better performance.my favorite is Angel .

I love this comparison video and you described both perfumes really well. I actually dislike the smell of Alien, every time I have tried to fall in love with it, the smell just puts me off... way too strong. On the other hand, I love Angel and also Angel muse all three are long-lasting and Angel just gives me all the feels
Thanks. Alien isn’t liked by a lot of people. It’s super strong! Angel is definitely the more “safe” scent between the two. Patchouli is my all time fave base note too 🙌🏾
I have tried several times with Alien but it always gives me a headache. Its the Jasmine that gets me.But I wish I could love it I love the bottle and everything but it doesn't work for me.
I tried samples of Angel and Alien today, for the very first time. Im late to the party yall lol..I was definitely expecting to like Alien better...but, the more I smell Angel, the more I love it. The dry down is intoxicating to me. I do really like Alien as well, there's just something about Angel that is hitting my sweet spot. I would buy both!

I live Angel but I just tried Aluen fusion and could not stop smelling it on my skin. Trying Aura now and it too is a little weird. It’s got that dirty vibe that Angel has at first spray.
I’m a Thierry mugler scent fan. The alien goddess I own but to decide on a full size of either of these I’m gonna get a dossier replica. I’m trying to decide whether I want both (since I have 5 others in my cart… send help) or one. After this, angel sounds most appealing. I appreciate your descriptions.
I fell in love with Thierry Mugler Angel ever since I was introduced by a friend of mine sometime in 1996.
I have tried few of other like Alien; Peony; Womanity. But I still prefer Angel.

I fell in love with angel from a young age my mums no.1 and I personally love angel, angel muse, and angel nova is to die for but the original alien doesn’t do it for me, although I find alien fusion pleasant and the alien goddess is gorgeous I could wear all day. Guys if you like angel try Hugo boss absolute for her it’s like vanilla and chocolate I love it. 🤩

Iam alien fan when I bought angel at first I hated it but after a whole year I don’t know what happen I just loved it .
It still smells like strong mosquito spray or something to me. That's what my daughter smells too. Idk why but I can't smell any of the individual notes still. I love Aura and Alien and thought I'd love Angel.
@@possumfriend2335 I agree. I got it basically on a blind buy based off of how popular it is and I just don't get the hype. It has a strong bug/male cat urine smell about it to me. At first. The dry down isn't terrible but those first sprays are so bug spray chemical smell to me.

Alien was my first Mugler fragrance, years ago. I loved it at first but couldnt finish it, so I gave it to my mom. Now I have Alien eau Sublim, which is the only Alien I can tolerate
Angel, on the other hand was a hate at first sniff, but it kinda grew on me, yes I even love the patchouli in it 🤣 I really appreciate both, but currently prefer Angel to Alien.
Love Alien. Have to admit the resurgence and new hype around Angel made me expect to like it more but Alien is so sharp and intoxicating. I find Angel to be a bit weird from beginning to the end. I loathe the dry down. Idk but Alien wins for me.

I have been eyeing one of these two perfumes for so long as I got into perfumery a couple of years ago and these are both iconic scents within the community. I sprayed Alien on my arm in Ulta and sprayed Angel on paper. I HATED the Angel spray at first stiff and also wasn't too fond of Alien. I shrugged it off, assuming neither was for me. As Alien settled on my skin and developed, I began to love it. The jasmine faded away a bit and in came that smooth, powdery, woody scent and I am now REALLY enjoying it. I kind of forgot about Angel because I hated it so much at first spray. However, I went back and smelled the tester after a couple of hours, and holy cow. It's amazing and I wish I had sprayed it on my skin. Thanks for this great video to help me decide :)

Angel edp is too much for me. On the other hand I adore the 2019 edt.. Just amazing....... But my love is Alien Edp, is just perfect jazmin 😍 could die for it

I have tried to like Angel. I have tried it a few times. Is it just me or does it have this body odor type of thing going on? There is something off putting about it. I do like alien.
Is Alien still intoxicating after it was bought by L'Oréal. Its now named Tallisman not Thierry Muglar. I found it so diluted... but the original Alien by Thierry Muglar was the way you explained but after it does not last nowadays for long....
I did not like Angel but now I love it
Alien edp smelled like a jasmine gag bomb on my skin with zero wood notes. No dry down scent, it just disappeared on me. Angel worked with my chemistry. Smelled more chocolatey patchouly-ish on the dry down - pretty scent and long lasting.
I absolutely love Alien, but Angel is actually the only fragrance that has ever made me gag at first sniff!
Yeah same here, Angel is absolutely horrid in my opinion. Usually I can find something I like with every perfume I smell, but Angel? Hell no! I couldn’t believe the lady at the department store told me I’d like it if gourmand smells are my thing…

This is going to sound horrible but Angel to me smells like the end of a crazy night out at the club, someone way too drunk passes by smelling of cognac, cheap perfume and a lot of sweat 🤢... Not a surprise that I chose Alien right!? 😅

L'Oreal reformulation butchered Alien! It was one of my all time faves from 2015. So sad, RIP Thierry Mugler.

I am so confused. Angel smelled so bad I had to literally take a shower. My husband was gagging as well. I returned it. A month later bought a new bottle. Put in on b4 work. My employees were asking what that horrific smell was. It was angel. Alien is phenomenal. Angel is hands down the absolute worst smell of any perfume. I wonder if its just reacting to my body chemistry. It smells like old lady wearing incense and eating rotting fruit. Literally that bad.

Angel is gorgeous, easily one of the greatest perfumes I have tried
It’s 100% body chemistry trust me, get someone else to wear angel or alien on their skin and it will smell different.
