The Roland BN20 is a 20” print and cut machine that can make anything from full colors stickers and decals to custom t-shirt and more.
And it does that by being both a full color printer AND a standard vinyl cutter.

A printer cutter or print and cut machine looks like a standard vinyl cutter that you might use just for heat transfer vinyl (HTV) or sign vinyl.

Standard vinyl cutters allow you to cut out heat transfers of a single-color material.
For example, you need to put a last name to customize football jersey you might choose a roll of white vinyl to cut out that one color. Then heat press it onto the jersey.
Or you could be creating a multi-color design like the one shown, but each single-color layer is done separately and combined on the shirt. (in the case of HTV)

how could you laminate the stickers? is it a way that you take off and reload the material?
Is BN 2 - 20 also work the same for tshirt printing?

Do you need to use the dtf powder and oven after printing and cutting and before applying to shirt?
No, this is a completely different process
Can this print posters as well? at least 13x19 semigloss, never had the need to go bigger than that. Just in addition to t-shirts stickers etc...

Can you do this with a Roland VS print and cut? Also is laminating required?
This IS part of the Roland VersaStudio family. No lamination required for the applications we showed here.
The BNC-20 is definitely on my list to purchase.
I already own a 54”, but I like the small footprint.
I do Silk Screen, DTG, DTF & SUB.
All this equipment takes up allot of space, especially with Commercial dryers. I honestly feel like I’m running out of room, so I like the idea of the BNC-20 because it pack a Big Punch in a small footprint.
In the event I need a much larger print I can use the big guy. I also like the idea it’s 110v because allot of my other equipment is 220v. I’m at the point if I added another piece of equipment that is 220v I have to do some major electrical upgrades!

How many washes until the graphic on a 100 cotton T-shirt fades or breaks?
That's a good question, but a hard one! 100% cotton shirts are made differently depending on brand and washing methods can vary. The best way to answer this question is for us to send you a t-shirt sample and let you wash, feel and see for yourself! Give us a call 877-793-3278

Are there laminators available for a print this small? Can it print registration marks and be able to cut through both the sticker and laminate?
Bit late, but yes to both. It will very accurately re-register itself with registration marks to cut out your removed-and-laminated material.
Do you all offer training for this machine if I purchase it from you?
Roland offers training directly, but we are always coming out with new videos

How does the transfer feel like? Like paper or more like htv?
These transfers feel much lighter and thinner than HTV. They are most similar to the feel of White Toner Transfers.

are these stickers waterproof?

@@mamasaenzcreationsbretinas8136 We don't have anything on the metallic inks, unfortunately. It has such limited applications and that ink requires more frequent maintenance. Most of our customers don't use metallic OR white.

Can it print on vinyl?
Yes, the BN-20 and the BN-20A can both print on HTV, sticker, cling, canvas, and other materials.
i have a problem with my bn-20 prints, the colours are fading after just one wash
hmm - have you contacted support? There are a few reasons that might be happening including - not letting the designs dry after then come off the printer, heat press temperature or pressure or quality
@@ColDesiColman we press it after 30 minutes in 160 degrees with 10 seconds

Using a sticker on a mug or glass is not a professional way to produce a product like that, its not going to hold up in the wash cycle. Sublimation is a better process that will last pretty much forever.
