❤ What purpose does this channel serve? Your banner declares humility. You post scripture videos, most likely subscribed and listened to by believers. None of this appears wrong on the surface. This most recent clip particularly powerful as recording disciple marching orders. But consider this, a majority of believers fall victim to pseudo church. They watch, listen and spend time within 4 walls of a labelled church building. Or they seek out online information or entertainment. Records indicate 303 such commands in the NT. Jesus says if you love ME, you do them. Doing all else because His will is hard is lukewarm and He will spew it out of his mouth like vomit (Read Revelation 2-3). Pray. Listen and act accordingly . Thank you for your energy and time either posting or comment making. Let’s raise up and commission an online TH-cam army to do exactly as He says - writing our own Book of Acts.

@@jakeschwartz2514 Thank you for responding. Salvation, as you may mean it simply sits side-by-side to this question. We recognize and give thanks for God’s Grace and forgiveness through the cross. Nothing we do changes that, that any man should boast. But, we do recognize Jesus as our Saviour and our Lord. The latter title of King and Kingdom, of equal importance, makes plain the need for change in how we live. Born-again believers as He prescribed get enablement. They can as Peter did now receive choice direction from on high. The reason, an ongoing of His ministry. If we as Jesus and the first Christians follow the Father’s guidance, the command now appears possible that we might be perfect AS our Father in Heaven is perfect. As perfect because He instructs on what He wants doing and provides the power to see it through. Using this approach, in our sinful weakness He is strong, living in us.❤
@@hansa9159 ❤ I’m not sure If your comment was addressed to me? We need to read the entire Bible, indeed. The Gospels or good news accounts of salvation through the cross stand firm, without anything added nor taken away. I suppose the Father could have engineered another method of instantaneous regeneration after the Resurrection. But both before and after The Cross is His ministry. His way to build His Church. Thankfully, He devotes 3 years documented alongside the added accounts through Paul on “how” to do the “what” would work. Our sinful nature can make itself known in rejecting Jesus outright or in accepting Him our way. That was the point being made.
Amen!! John 3:16 for whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. But we need to keep reading to John 3:36 He who believes in the Son has eternal life; he who does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God rests upon him… this is a continual repentance, continual taking up our cross and seeking the narrow path to the kingdom of God. We must obey His word, when we fall short which we all will, acknowledge and repent, get back up and carry your cross.

Creation of the Heavens, the earth, life and societies as an on going creative process involve a division and reproductive process, including the regeneration of living cells. I believe the Kingdom of God and the Church Jesus founded is set apart, separated from the world. Yet another obvious separation or dividing line arises with the Body of Christ; those who grow and produce fruit and those dead ‘fig-trees’ or tares that will face consequences. Clearly, the initial act in choosing Christ may fall short when failing to do as he commands; to count the cost, to pick up the cross and follow, to die to self. His gracious gift of citizenship (leaving the word salvation aside) is well accepted as a seed planted, but not all survive. God IS God and I cannot presume to argue with his system but rather lovingly accept and REpeatedly accept over and over again. In closing, the Parable in Mark unusually underscores personal growth. Imagine the Great Harvest not only in new converts but their individual growth in KIngdom virtues through good-works, as lived and demonstrated by Jesus himself. Now we have a horizontal and vertical growth whose readiness to harvest and separate expedites the Saviour’s return. It’s not about (for example) 7 billion converts but 4.3 billion mature converts in Christ, sufficiently to usher in the Kingdom. He assists us to complete that inner work through Holy Spirit action which spurs us on from doubt, to faith but ultimately to trust as we step out of the boat and walk as He calls us. Walk and be chosen.
