Wa alaikom alsalam, I'm not sure of all the details, the definite signs of al imam almahdi include the killing of the pure soul, sufyanis appearance and army getting swallowed, the call from the heavens etc. All other details are not certain. However as far as my research, the Dajjal is non existent in the narrations from ahlulbayt (as) , and is only mentioned in sunni books. I personally believe aldajjal is a concept that some people have been trying to materialise throughout history and hence have inserted prophecies across religions. For example introducing the concept into islam from israelite narrations through figures such as ka3b ibn alahbar and the likes. Wallahu a3lam
We should also direct our duas ONLY to ALLAH. Muhammad s.w.s. was only a Messenger, just like it's said in Surah Ali 'Imran: ¨Muhammad is no more than (only) a Messenger, and Messengers have passed away before him¨ (3:144). The Quran says that Muhammad s.w.s. was ONLY a MESSENGER. Yes Ahlul Bayt has been purified just like it's said on Surah Al-Ahzab: ¨Allah only wishes to remove uncleanness from you, O members of the (Prophet's) household, and to purify you completely¨ (33:33). But I don't think we should put Imams in such a high pedestal just like Shia's foundation on Imamat. The Quran emphasize on Muhammad s.w.s. being ONLY a Messenger so let's follow him and not indulge in any sort of innovation which would progressively indulge in Shirk (Shia's tawassul is quite questionable, regardless of one's intention). Just like it's written in Surah Ali 'Imran: ¨If you really love Allah, then follow me, and Allah shall love you and forgive you your sins. Allah is Most-Forgiving, Very-Merciful.” (3:31). ¨Follow me¨ --> ¨not worship me¨ or ¨ask through me¨. The Prophet s.w.s. did not use any intermediary for his supplications. Following him would therefore mean that we should lead our supplications ONLY to ALLAH Almighty. ¨Sunnah¨ for sure has it's wrongs due to the fact of Bukhari being bogus (which is their most reliable source). There are some wrongs everywhere (EXCEPT IN TRUE ISLAM, TRUE HAQQ FROM ALLAH) and that's why the road of Haqq is narrow. As Muslims, we should remain steadfast and not be blinded by any kind of Ego, we MUST be self-aware about our own selves and also always ask for guidance from our Maker, since ilm ONLY comes from Allah. Islam means ¨Submission to God¨. 1. Let's not forget that Shaitan is smart & that he'll do everything to trick us into Shirk (short term AND/OR long term). 2. Let's not let Shaitan laugh at us for worshipping/asking anything OTHER THAN ALLAH. What if, none of these happens even though it mentioned in our narrations ! and God already did this before: 1- Quran Al-araf:142( and we made an appointment with Moses for thirty night and completed with ten (more) …) the deals was that God asked Moses for meeting and he told Bani Israel that he is leaving for 30 days but God tested them with another 10 days. And the consequences was a huge failure 2- If we really are keep looking for this type of signs we might never see him or see that day, what Quran says bout this ? Al-Ra’ad :39 (effaces out whatever he pleases and he confirms, and with him is the mother of the book (basic source)) It means God can easily change everything that people were expecting as a main test. So, in this case all of the narration in regards to the re-appearance could mean some thing else !
Did the Arabs compete in building tall buildings in the desert? There are so many signs that did not occur until now. Every era prior to now can easily be taken out of the equation. Never the less what this sheikh is saying is not backed up by authentic hadith or even fabricated hadith. There are no hadith that support 80% of what this sheikh is saying. But this is typical of this group to make up elaborate Hollywood stories about issues relating to Islam. When they talk they never refer to hadiths from our Prophet.
