  • Josh and Kalie from ExpatsEverywhere visit Fiji and give their tips on things to do. They recommend visiting Suva, the capital, to get a cultural experience. Another place to see is Denarau Island in Nadi to get the resort feel. However, Fiji is made up of loads of islands so don't just stop there. You can take a boat, island hop, and experience the different vibes that each island has to offer. They talk about hotels they recommend, driving in the country, the people, things to do, and more. Bula! It's time for you to visit fabulous Fiji!

Just a quick reply on you mentioning the locals who have been greeting you guys with: "where are you from". It's a usual thing in Fijian greetings and goes way back in time. It's so they know if they're related, belong to the same tribe/clan or if they're rivals. So it's a very usual thing that is normal in a first meeting with someone they haven't met before. 😉

Weird, “where are you from” is ALWAYS the first question people ask me when I’m traveling.

Hi Josh and Kalie, Great video! Hope to visit Fiji some day. Seems like such a relaxing country to vacation in! It's definitely a plus when the people are super friendly. As always, thanks for the very helpful travel tips!

Hey, thank you! You should certainly consider it soon because Fiji Airways is running specials from Singapore a lot. I don't know if it gets more affordable. The Sofitel itself is very reasonably priced and we think it's lower considering that it's not 100% open/at capacity. Let us know if you need anything else. Thanks for the support! We wish you continued success for your channel. We keep our eye on you.

I've stayed in a lot of resorts in Fiji including Marriott ( Water Villas ) . I will never go back to Marriott . It's exactly as it was stated in the clip . It's isolated and does not have a Fijian vibe to it . Too commercialised and overpriced . The best place that I've stayed in Fiji has to be the Yasawa Island ( Yasawa -i-Ra to be specific )with it's white sand and the Yasawa caves nearby , it is an experience .

Simon Bee awesome! Thank you for subscribing. We’re actually putting the final touches on a video that’s going to come out tomorrow. We’ve interviewed an expat that’s living in Suva. We connected with her after referencing her blog in a video a few weeks ago. Let us know what you think about her interview when it goes live. Thank you again for watching. Hopefully, we’ll be back and we’ll take your advice. If we do get the chance, we’ll come to Mamanucas and give you a shout out. Cool? 👋👌🤙

Adam Wazny it totally depends on what you are into and how many pacific island vacations you have been on. Let us know that and we’ll address your points. Nadi itself might be boring to some.
