Aap English k books padhiye especially apne course k . Pahle usko samjhne ki koshish kijie. Words k meaning na aae to dictionary me dekhen. Aur khud se phir mock question answers likhne ki koshish kijie.
How can the sentence "India won the match" be synecdoche while "I have to read Shakespeare for class" be metonymy? Both of them are in a way representing partially something which is part of a larger whole right? India for the Indian team, Shakespeare for the works of Shakespeare? Kindly clarify. Thanks!

Mam what is the meaning of ought
used to indicate duty or correctness, typically when criticizing someone's actions.
Sometime in poem I often notice this tipe of word " o'er (over)...'his(this)...e'er(ever)...Why..?
They are used to maintain rhythm and rhyme.
@@Swarnshikha yeessss... We use this term 'elision' in poetry to reduce the no. of syllables in a word. Simple example:
I am - I'm
Are not - Aren't😀
I want to ask that Teaching is my bread and butter.
Is it metonymy or synechdoche?
Plz answer me as soon as possible.
I think it should be 'Synecdoche'.
