he is so amazing. the sweetest guy ive ever met. Even my mom loved him. And the fact that he's wearing the bracelet i gave him is awesome. i've been a loyal fan for a VERY long time and he knows that. I don't think he gets the respect he deserves. He's worked hard and he is an amazing singer. I would hands down go to see him over many artist these days. Aaron is real and he doesn't give a F*** what anyone thinks. He is so good to his fans. And i'm ready for people to see what ive seen for years

This was the clean & sober Aaron, before he started doing drugs.
My guess is, he started doing drugs because he was frustrated his music career didn't take off.

Pretty sure he was taking drugs already when this interview was taken, but I'm not sure and probably not hardcore street drugs like coke and meth. He was probably taking small amounts of prescription drugs, like Xanax or Klonopin here.
Damn, Aaron seemed so much different in this interview than how he was the last couple years. Too bad he only made it ten more years after this interview.
Wow..this interview is amazing!! Getting to know THE Aaron Carter...he's just a regular person! He's honest, he tells it like it is, holds nothing back....I'm so proud to call him my Idol. He is so sweet and he loves his fans so much!! He hasn't changed a bit. The Aaron Carter I've read in the magazines..is just like this Aaron Carter. He's so genuine...and I loved what he said about Lindsay. Aaron is so smart.I love him.

God he's so beautiful in nature, he's so realistic and he knows it. He doesn't feel sorry for himself and he's very proud to be this real. And this is why we love him, all Aaron's fans will agree.

Great inteview, really honest and sincere! There's been some bad press and false stories going about Aaron over the years but it's good that he takes the opportunity here to set the record straight about what is true and what isn't. I've met him twice and he's really nice and sympathetic, not to mention very talented. I'm so happy that he's bouncing back and looking good and healthy again, back where he's meant to be! :)
Everything was well said Aaron. If only crazy celebrities could learn a thing or two from him. Very much amazed by this interview. He's not hiding behind any mask at all. I really admire you and Nick for being very strong people and having to go through a lot of issues in your life and your family. Respect!!!

Its nice to hear a guy say that about him, alot of people talk shit.
Im learning more about him thanks to this interview...hes been through a lot but im glad hes taking a better path now and starting to get back his life before with maturity. I just hope he will get back with his brother sooner. I still love him no less..i wish him the best and God’s guidance is what he really need.

He is right about the willpower, you don't necessarily need AA meetings or any of that shit. Xanax is a hell of a drug, it makes you just act crazy sometimes, especially if you drink on it. I wonder if his sister overdosed on Xanax or if she died from the the withdrawals. Cause alcohol and Xanax or benzodiazepines are the only drugs that can you can die from the withdrawal.

do you know him and nick personally? do you listen to their phone conversations and are you there when they see each other? Then how do you know! We don't know what their relationship is like and I don't blame Aaron for not forgiving Nick. If something happened to my sister and my other sister didn't show up I would be the same way. We can't judge because we dont know ALL the facts. But Aaron loves his brother N his brother loves him. I actually prefer Aaron over Nick just by meeting them both!

The Carter's came from nothing trying to survive from weekly pay cheque. An once Nick became a Backstreet boys an the $$$$$ started rolling in... A recipe for disaster
Thank goodness Jane Carter wasn't Nick's manager therefore she had no access to his financials or she would've stolen and depleted all of Nick's hard earned money too. How Aaron can just stand by and give accolades to his thieving mother is beyond me; I would get that vile out of my life for good. Stealing from your child, while they are working hard and making money makes me angry. If Jane was a great manager, she would've capped a salary for herself, through a lawyer and notarized documents for employment. She could've set her income at the average rate of a recording & performing artists manager and she would've made approx. 60-80k per year, yet instead she stole nearly every penny Aaron made, which is estimated to be between 2-3 million dollars (cleared after paying all involved: producers, tours, overhead). Now Aaron is seriously messed up, he has severe addiction and mental health issues and is constantly a professional victim in every circumstance.
