The Castlevania OST is iconic. Withstands the test of time. Hell.... I was listening to the Epic Version of Bloody Tears while finishing the final bosses in Elden Ring today... listening to this.... all fits brilliantly. Well done.

@@Classic_DionysuS Hideaki Nakama is the man and I will hear nothing to the contrary. He and Akio Shimizu are both guitarists for Anthem, the band Naoto Shibata originally came from, and Shimizu even helped with Perfect Selection Dracula Battle Vol 1.
Yeah... it sounds good, and has SOME parts but this isn't IBI. This is an original song with nods to and the name of Iron Blue Intention. Im sure that wasn't the intent, but it just deviates too far from the og to be considered a cover.

I have to be honest, I heard this album for first time after downloaded it from Napster (about 1998 or 99), and I thought exactly the same "It sounds pretty similar to Yngwie Malmsteen"!! A similar case between Yngwie's "Far Beyond the Sun" song and "Dwelling of Doom" from Castlevania 2 th-cam.com/video/bft_NeWKTrI/w-d-xo.html
Don't care if this version is faithful to the original or not, I just think it's a great song nonetheless. In facts, I might be in the minority but I prefer the two Dracula perfect selection albums to the snooze-inducing and repetitive songs by Anthem by a mile.
Fun fact: it's the same song that you would recognize as the "regular" Iron Blue Intention, but performed in a minor key For another example of this look up the OST to the Scott Pilgrim game - Scott Pilgrim's Anthem and The Dark One have the same score performed in different keys
