@@Steedojnot only that, but it also gives pretty good stat buffs without ki drain. Imo, it's absolutely one of the most OP things saiyans can have.

This build is like a glass cannon without the glass and the cannon is a nuke.
12:35 In regards to your question about how the saiyans train in lore currently, I think the writers are trying to make clear that Goku and Vegeta can't rely on things like the hyperbolic time chamber or the zenkai boost anymore. Their path to power now lies on development of the self, conquering their inner weaknesses and rising to greater challenges (i.e. Granolah, Gas, Frieza Black). Training just maintains their current level of physical prowess rather than making further gains. Their focus is now on mental fortitude, refining techniques, and becoming more efficient with their ki usage. The latest chapter in the manga (ch. 93 I believe) makes this clear, as Vegeta is now focused on things like meditation rather than practicing punches. As far as raw physical ability goes, they are essentially at their peak. So Goku is learning how to refine Ultra Instinct to suit his fighting style better (choosing to stay in the sign state rather than using the full version that requires an empty mind), and Vegeta is choosing the GoD path to power.
Tl;Dr: Instead of training, they are getting stronger by refining their current skills and abilities while they learn to tap into the next gateway in their path to power. It's just poorly explained in the show.
They hit the level cap and now they're gitting gud.
I like the idea of there being a solid cap to their raw strength and being forced to focus on refining their other skills, because to be perfectly honest, how much farther can you go when you're at multiversal+ levels of attack power?

DankyTH It's a _very_ far reach, but I really want them to add Future SSJ2 that has the strike version of Super Vegeta 2's buffs (so in between SSJ2 and SSJ3's stats).
Future Trunks has long since gotten SSJ2, so there's no reason for them not to. It's not like the difference between SSJ1 and SSJ2 is just lightning particles for CaCs.
@Christian Cinnabars like the form trunks has in the manga, where he perfected his ssj2 that matches goku at ssj3. That'd be cool to have but knowing xenoverse yea no💀

All they did for SSJ3 was a bug fix. The blue forms getting the buffs they did made the OG forms obsolete which is just bad design since half the saiyan forms are effectively worthless.
•Future Super Saiyan needs to be turned to a 10% overall damage boost and maybe give it the DBS Gogeta transformation treatment where it can be used for combos. As is Future is just regular Super Saiyan but with stamina recovery boost instead of defense meanwhile both blue forms do it better. This gives it a unique feature with respectable extra damage without being completely busted.
Super Saiyan 3 needs its ki recovery to only be -50% instead of like -90%. If you want a basic attack form, Red God does it better since the boost is higher and the ki recovery means more super usage which outpaces whatever boost SSJ3 can give due to the fact that you don't get ki back.
Super Vegeta 2 needs its blast damage boosted to at least 20% rather than 17.5%. It had a niche as the best blast form for raids and such since it did more than PU but didn't drain ki like the blue forms did. Now Beast is here which does it even better, but giving SV2 extra damage to make up for it could maybe make it worthwhile in more.

In the free update for HERO OF JUSTICE Pack 1, dimps added a step cancel after throwing a rock for Jaco and Hercule. I think that means they're endorsing ki blast cancelling. If you think about it, ki blast cancels serve to balance out the roster a bit. Imagine a world where you couldn't ki blast cancel; the characters with step cancels early in their movesets would be pretty much the only characters you can compete with.
So you’re telling me Hercule can Ki cancel now? Earth is doomed.

@@elijahwatjen9839 nor have they added step cancels, or guard cancels to the tutorial. However, all these things- ki cancels, step cancels, and guard cancels, are placed there by hand. By default, you can't just cancel out of a combo any way you want.

I think with that super soul,it would work a lot better with Beast,because at least your taking as MUCH damage as you usually would.
You'd still be taking in beast I think. Beast is 20% more damage taken and this ss is 10% damage reduce. But it would still help beast yeah.
Hey steed this is the ssj2 Gohan you fought im not new to the game I know how to limit burst and ki blast cancel I just didn't want to cheese. I wanted it to be a nice clean fight cause I'm a honest warrior.
if you actually want someone to hit you with an ult then lock off and fly to the bottom of the map and just set the controler down... because 2 things will happen.. 1, they will wait for you... or 2, they will hit you as hard as they can and 9/10 use ults as they are almost always a 1 shot... i know this because im good enough to read a xenoverse player i havent even met yet... dont believe me? do it a few times before you win a match. if your winning by a lot just go for it... your almost certain to see exactly what i said... everyone always either waits confused or hit you as hard as possible to take advantage. either way you already got what you wanted by winning easily or getting hit with the ult
Raging blast 2 did Ss2 Tohan right. Fast blistering hits is the only way I could describe it. Never got the chance to play online but I could tell he was top tier

Super saiyan God is so powerful with the "Any taller would be unnatural" Supersoul just took one health bar with a simple combo from a player who took Lord Beerus.
That's my go to SS, bought one for each Cac. A universal 15% damage boost is just too good to pass up. It syncs so well with PU for a 30% universal damage boost. It pairs super well with Golden as well.

I know it's a stretch, but while you're making defense builds, you might want to try "A Power-Baised Transformation..." It gives a large boost to both defense and normal attack when you transform. Though you're not allowed to block while transformed (which is why I say it's a stretch).
So how's it a defense buff if you can't block?

I know this video is almost a year old at this point. But yeah, Teen Gohan is quite a bit better in some of the other games. He can be very troublesome to deal with in FighterZ when used by someone that knows his kit well.
He definitely makes for a great Point character in FighterZ. As he can apply pressure well and generate a decent amount of bar for your Mid and Anchor choices.

You know, if they fix the game and take away ki cancels and stuns by making you not able to recover after straight after using it. People who use them will lose so bad. Like literally, take the fast recover and bam. No more of that dumbass exploit.

I saw that before. I wasn't too bothered about it then but watching videos of xenoverse is all you is ki cancels. If they did the opposite then it would've been a much better change then give those two fast recoveries.

The Dragon Ball Characters or at least most of them don't need to grow much in strength, but they have a lot of room to grow in technique. When you consider goku was able to match Jiren while using UI, whic is not a transformation, no matter how many people want to claim it, It's just a different way of using his power, Jiren wasn't that much stronger than Goku Or Vageta. They even say as much in the super hero movie. His technique was just that much better than theirs.

Ssj3 with “that heat… I’ll have to match it!” Gives the same buff to defence but it boosts ki regen and stamina and movement
You have to get hit with an ultimate for that one, this super soul is always so no not taking your suggestion

With super saiyan in general besides ssj3 outside of the obvious ki regen benefits that 5% to all awoken skills stats is insane making all three levels of super saiyan stupid good

15% damage reduction to basic attack and strike and 10% damage reduction to ki based moves, super saiyan blue evolved only has an overall 10% damage reduction

Probably evolution but would be hard to pull off with Orange Piccolo super soul
ssj3 has a 15% buff to strike and melee defense and a 10% buff to ki defense while evolution just has a flat 10% all round, so overall SSJ3 is tankier, especially if you're dealing with strike characters.
USE BROLYS SUPER SOUL😭 it gives an XL boost to defense when ki is full

ssj3 is so useless in the game as it stands... its not a bad form it is just so incredibly outdated you might as well just use another form... if your hair is yellow in a fight with me... im not worried because it means 1 of 3 things...
1. your using it cuz it looks cool and therefore wont be playing cheap and i always beat casual players
2. you dont even have the better forms yet cuz your new in which case i will win easily anyway
and 3.... your using it cuz of vids like this that make you think its actually good when its mid at best in which case i KNOW i will win because your just following the crowd and not doing anything original i have to be on guard for... like fighting the 80 millionth bum on the street with there glass bottle... thinking its green so it hits harder then your average bottle making it the best thing ever....

Ssj3 has a 20% increase to basic attack and strike damage and around 7.5 or 10% to ki blast attacks, there’s a 15% damage reduction to all basic attack and strike moves and 10% damage reduction to ki blast, the only downside to the form is ki recovery which makes this form god tier

there is just no point in using ssj3 when blue evo does everything it does but better... if i remember right blue evo gives like a 30% damage buff or something stupid high like that... and for that reason ALONE its better then 3... EVEN IF 3 WAS MORE TANKY i would still use evo over it just because the entire point of being a tank is so you can survive long enough to put your opponent to sleep first... and that means you want to do as much damage as possible while being able to take as many hits as possible... and do you know what form gives you the highest damage possible and gives you the biggest defence boost possible... OH YEA ITS FUCKING BLUE EVO...
