A nice relaxed look around some the more well established hotels, I did love the tree in Claridges, stunning. The Neil Strain flower shop tried to guess the bouquet price I was £100 short, great to look at. The decor on Sloane St was fantastic. I believe the Dunhill place is a shop. London looked "bewitching" in all its Christmas glory. ( Was waiting for Hannah's nose to twinkle after the intro). Decorations are quite grand this year. The pubs and cafe are inviting. Its good to see [ from a tiny outpost at the other end of the world]
"We love a posh tassel" - thanks for yet another positive tour ... love the florists and the earnest reflections in buses, ornaments, mirrors, etc. Not sure about the bird house tree ... makes you wonder if some birds weren't evicted their homes ...
Always a joy to see Mayfair an area I love so much and have so many memories of working in various locations over the years. Will be up in town next Wednesday for dinner and drinks with some old colleagues in at the Ham Yard hotel just off from Piccadilly.
