    It would be nice to see if this is true, if for no other reason to reward Fabio’s loyalty to brand with performance

    Its not about the engine lay out - its just the engine shape, the inline 4 is wide while the V4 is thin and have a better weight distribution this allows ducati to tweak more their bikes

    Why are the subtitles hard coded into the video? This is SO annoying! If viewers want to see the subtitles, we can very easily press the subtitle button! We don’t need them forced upon us or hard coded and recorded into the video itself.

    • @TheRaceGP
      @TheRaceGP  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Appreciate the feedback! I’ll consider optional subtitles for future videos to improve the viewing experience.

    With Yamaha developing a V4 for the new regulations in 2026, this is a chance for a Japanese team to get back on top.

    • @TheRaceGP
      @TheRaceGP  หลายเดือนก่อน

      A V4 in 2026 could be Yamaha's ticket back to the top of MotoGP.

  • @kengleetan63

    Nothing will change until they come out with their V4 bikes. But then Yamaha was already way behind in their V4 development.

    • @TheRaceGP
      @TheRaceGP  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Good point! Yamaha’s approach with the M1 focuses on refining the inline-4 platform, but a V4 could definitely shake things up in the future.

      And he’ll do absolutely nothing at Yamaha just like all his teams. He generally starts well but does not have the racing intelligence to compete at the sharp end so nearly all off his wins have been lucky ones. Most overrated rider in the paddock and as a hardcore Yamaha supporter I was VERY disappointed to see they chose him. Would rather have sent a good Moto 2 rider come up.

    This is progress on the dated in line 4 it's won more races than any other engine.. The Moto GP future for Yamaha starts again after Quartararo won 2021 world championship and 1 crash stopped him going back to back in 2022. It's amazing that the YZR-M1 Yamaha cross-plane design only 2 years ago was winning motoGP WSBK American and British superbike championship's.. so I'm not really sure where this video is going but it's obvious that not a hole lot will change until the new
    YZR-M1 Yamaha V4 hits the track and for that first season there's much testing experimenting dialing in to take place so anyone with half a race brain will understand you don't flick a switch and its all systems go. Anyway moto GP has become a bit stale because everyone riding the same brand isn't as exciting as multiple manufacturers punching it on track. I'm guessing from what's been said about KTM they won't be there 🤷‍♂️ and hey the economy is making stuff change Ducati race but really only in a small circle meaning Yamaha have a huge influence all around the world with Factory motocross and supercros
    road racing plus on water snow 4 wheelers ect. Where as Ducati are based around road racing and just recently on dirt we'll see how well that goes anyway they are dominant atmo on tar but it's taken a life time to happen because the history is ruled by Japanese manufacturers who at this point are at there all time lowest so realistically Ducati is racing itself Aprillia hasn't really improved unfortunately. We need all brands racing it's why racing Rules 🏁 🤘🏻Respect ✊️the need for speed 💪🏻

    • @TheRaceGP
      @TheRaceGP  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yamaha’s legacy with the inline-4 is undeniable, and the shift to a V4 will take time to dial in. Hopefully, more manufacturers competing will bring the excitement back to MotoGP.

    WAYYY too early hot take: Quartararo’s gonna take the ‘26 title, assuming Yamaha can keep improving.

    Let's see if Michelin bring in a new tyre and what bikes work with it and what bikes don't, like the 2023 ducati didn't work with the 2024 rear tyre. I for one don't believe in a 'control tyre', each team should work with a tyre manufacture to fine tune their bike so we can get the best out of all of them but with no personal tyre contracts for riders like we had with Rossi to ensure there's no favouritism for the 'face' of their advertising.

    • @TheRaceGP
      @TheRaceGP  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Great point! Tyre compatibility is crucial, and a more open partnership with manufacturers could lead to even better performance across the board, without favouritism. It’ll be interesting to see how Michelin and teams adjust in the future!
