Omg you are so right about checking where you cut..I made a huge boo-boo one year I was cutting some leaves off my cucumber plant & I was at an awkward angle,I only cut through the main stem😞😞it was one of the best cucumbers I had grown it was healthy & strong..I was so upset..it was leaking fluid quite quick it's like it was bleeding😅😅,I did try wrapping some tape around it, maybe I should have put cloth there..I still think about that now,I did shed a tear.. Can I just say your garden is beautiful, what variety of lettuce was they were huge??.. One of my tomato plants grew huge this year,I didn't prune it I left it in a smaller pot,it went crazy.. Oh I am growing the same courgette plant as you,but mine has gone wild..I planted it in a raised bed,say hip height maybe a bit bigger, it's grew over the side of the raised bed & is now growing over some stuff in its path & it's growing towards my house..I call it my little shop of horrors 😂😂..It's gone mad!!!!.. Gardening has done & does do a lot for me especially when it comes to my mental health.. My mom loved gardening & her garden was beautiful,my mom passed away this year,cancer..I was really looking forward to me & my mom doing our gardens, going shopping for seeds & more..we were working things out..I always have questions pop up in my head & I think oohh I will have to ask mom, then my heart sinks.. What attracted you to gardening if you don't mind me asking & what inspired you to make a you tube video??..I would love to have the confidence to do my own you tube channel, maybe one day..I will keep watching for now.. Thankyou again for such great advice, sharing what you have learned over time, really appreciate it.. Have a blessed day 🍄☮️🐞🏵️🍄☮️🐞🏵️
Oh no! It's always so annoying (and sad)! Really pleased that you like the garden! The lettuce was just a common Romaine Ballon variety, which I'd let grow a bit bigger. I find it can be quite a good way of getting more from the single plant. (It also creates a nice barrier from the wind too!) So sorry to hear about your mother. She sounds like a really lovely person, and I bet she's so proud of you for what you've achieved! When it came to gardening, what's always attracted me to growing things, is the ability to watch things change throughout the seasons; seeing how they develop and grow. And with TH-cam, I love the creative freedom it gives me, to share things with people, in a fun and enjoyable manner! I hope you've had an amazing day, and thank you so much for your support! It means the world to me!
Your vegetable garden looks as imperfect as mine. Your video gave me hope and encouragement.
I’m glad! Not everything has to look perfect. Asking as you’re able to grow lots from it, that’s all that matters!
Another great video!
Thank you!
Nice!
Thank you!

Great tips, I'm definitely guilty of not labeling then later getting annoyed with myself, 🤔
