isnt bulk density the density of the entire sample before it was dried? Maybe im mistaken but i think for your mass you were supposed to use 250g to calculate bulk density
In some engineering contexts, there is a need to know the wet bulk density, which would require the weight before drying. But in soil science, the dry bulk density is almost always used, thus requiring the dry weight.
