Till joins after an open invite from Hearn on Twitter last week, the pair place a bet on #JoshuaFury and recap the return of MMA plus Till's next move and reveals some weight cutting stories. Honestly got so much respect for Dillian Whyte. I went to Loughborough the last few years while he did his camps there and he said hello to me in the gym every day even though he didn't know me. He also came and took one of our kickboxing sessions one evening completely off his own back and genuinely took an interest. Great guy and an absolute dog in the ring. Not many like him nowadays.

@@robertblake1228 He's already fought AJ and gave him a serious knock, are you suggesting he was scared to go again? He has worked himself into a position to fight for a world title but he deserves a full camp. He was offered the AJ fight fairly late notice, if he had longer he would have taken it.
Say what you want about him but he's definitely not a bottler or a coward, he will fight anyone but whats the point in risking everything you have worked for? He will get another go at AJ but it would be massive if he had a belt too.

@@user-tf2px6pv4r Where are you getting 11 weeks from? Big Baby Miller failed his tests at the end of April and the fight was the 1st of June, that's about 5/6 weeks.
Ruiz had just fought Dimitrenko at the end of April so he was already in fighting shape, it was worth him taking the risk. There was noway Whyte would be at his best taking a fight at 6 weeks notice. It was a sensible decision for his career.

@@birdienumnum3713 Eddie Hearn is a promoter not the president of any boxing organisation, so has not much say on who fights each other, he just gets the chance to bid for the purse.
He has no say over mandatory defences and offered Dillian £4million to fight Joshua as a voluntary, but he knocked it back. He has also promoted his two fights with Derek Chisora, plus the Lucas Browne, Joseph Parker and Oscar Rivas fights and got him on the AJ v Ruiz 2 undercard with Alexander Povetkin next up, and you think that those were stupid fights?

Dillian is a legend, one of few fighters that genuinely means it when they say "i'll fight anybody any time". Always puts on a show and goes to war, proper old school fighter with the mentality of a winner. Hats off to him for facing the adversity in early life to get to where he is, but it's made him the absolute warrior that he is. Met him at the Usyk V Bellew weigh in and he was a proper gent, had time for everybody and took photos with fans.

Eddie gives UFC credit to be fair, to even put their fighters on his platform shows that, and for fans of both sports it's great to have crossovers like this

Just found this podcast, this is fantastic. It's brilliant getting the actual thoughts of people in the industry instead of someone chatting absolute macca that's never been in a fight their life
Ngannou has finished 27% of his wins via submission. I know his ground game is way off compared to elite MMA fighters but he’s most likely a fair bit more experienced on the ground than Whyte

Top interviews , Darren Tills` honesty is enlightening , I also think the weight cuts are undeniably borderline dangerous , keep up the good work fellas. Look forward to Dillian / Povetkin fight , it will be a good scrap , Dillian to win on stoppage mid rounds , and first / second round KO. over Ngannou if that ever happens..

Nas, he was overrated just like Wilder. He ducked morales and eventually got forced to fight Barrera,, got schooled and never fought again. He was good but his resume was pretty bad for a champion.. I think he only beat two top tens,, I might be wrong but I know it was bad. Nigel Benn and Eubank were British greats though

You guys don’t know Ngannou’s resume.. he’s truly a great fighter light on his feet, great jab and an amazing chin. He’s beat world champions and the guy he fought was undefeated. He makes everyone look like an amateur. I would love to see Whyte be humbled and Francis to be the most successful crossover fighter ever

No heavyweight fighter in the UFC for Francis Ngannou at the moment. Save him waiting 9 months for winner of Stipe vs DC and give him Dillian Whyte. Now or never to have a crossover heavyweight fight including Francis 🤔
Yeah man and the thing with that is normally its not even a contest if a boxer goes into the octagon but with Ngannou i think it'll actually be a quality fight.

Cutting weight is honestly brutal, I remember worst one I've ever had I was supposed to be moving up in weight for a fight and then as that fight fell through I had another opportunity to fight on a week's notice and it was at a lower weight than my usual weight anyway, I had to lose 27lbs in a week considering I usually walk around at around 145ish and usually fight at 135, I've never had my body shutdown like it did then, there was nothing left for my body to give, got in there on fight night and got flattened. So many guys ruin their body's and their performances by cutting too much
UFC 249 was unreal crowd or no crowd the UFC is number 1 (I am a big boxing fan to)
Liverpool is like other cities in developed countries, full of colleges, free school education and top universities. There are also options to learn skills such as IT or plumbing. If you want to be a civil servant, fire, police, that's also possible. The options are not just football, boxing, mma or street life. I don't like former stars with such negativity, kids listen to this. Kids, by all means learn sport, but be aware only a minority make it. However, please pursue other career options and stay away from bad influences. You can build a great life in Liverpool by hard work.

@Junkiefunki Smith we have housing benefit, social security, free school education, free healthcare, tons of options after school. In a developed country like this, I have little sympathy for scumbags entering crimes but 90% + of Liverpool's sensible population do just fine.

Single mothers should have taken responsibility, used all the free opportunities to get a good career and then have kids. Not have kids and then expect everyone else to pay. Shameless. Tony obviously knows his stuff no doubt, incredible boxer, but his judging Ngannou off one fight. There's been other fights where he has shown precision and technique. He does train boxing as I think that's his main thing.
I just think he chose to put Bigi Boy away in a flurry because he sensed that he had him. He could have made it a dog fight but what's the point when you can put him away early and walk away looking fresh? Dillian knows.

He’s not passing them off as live you donut. It’s just better to live stream a pre recorded video on TH-cam these days as it brings more viewers most of the big you tubers do it these days... Eddie says on twitter days before they’re released that he’s recorded them and says when they are streaming.
