- Here's how I achieve a low sleek ponytail/sleek bun on freshly washed hair. It's a great style if you need to wash your hair and leave your house looking cute in a couple of hours. It's also a great way to dry and stretch your hair while looking great. This is my to-go for a lot of formal events, I like to serve my face in all it's glory lol

Hina Han Lydia from Lydia and Alma on TH-cam did it. Her hair isn't as long but she did it. I can't remember which video but it's either how to lay 4c edges or Lydia' s fro tutorial were she did this style. She uses this method to stretch her hair.

I didn't think the banded ponytail would look good on my hair because it's only shoulder length. By the time I finished and put the bands on my hair it came out so nice!!! Literally my favorite style to 1. Dry my hair for a stretched roller set or 2. Put my already stretched hair away before i wash it. Super under rated hair style. I love that i can take the first anchor ponytail out when I’m home so there’s no tension and without messing up that style. I just put the ponytail holder back.

Thanks for sharing wash day styles. I usually stay in the house all weekend with twists because I don't want to take them out while they are wet. I am going to try the style and the tip of applying the Blueberry Bliss to avoid the white cast from the gel.

I noticed that you had a protective style in while you were on your trip. I was wondering If you could please do a tutorial on what you do prior to braiding, how you maintain both the braids and your natural hair while it is in a protective style and what you do to keep your natural hair from breaking while and after you have taken the braids out. Hey! Happy to be back 😊 I literally put the braids in for the sole purpose of the trip so I only had them in for 2 weeks. In that time I sprayed it a few times with my curls coconut milk or water leave-in spray thingy lol... Prior to it, I did my SheaBiscus Rainforest smoothie treatment and I did a light blow out for my braider. When I took them down, I detangled and moisturised. Put in some chunky twist and wore headwraps for a week to allow my scalp to readjust from the tension as I don't usually wear extensions. That was it! I jumped back into my regular routine after.
