this song actually explains a lot about my soul, my deepest feelings, my emotions and my relationships, it expresses perfectly and textually my very every thought and feeling and experience of my life, every single moment of it and how it felt, every single experience and also it has a line explaining every single side of my personality, telling my story and understanding it perfectly well.
Nana was the 1st Manga I ever read (besides Vampire Knight 😝 idk how or why i even liked it. But it was during that whole vampire trend back in the day lol!) but Nana was so powerful and moving, I was elated when it got an anime adaptation and it didn't disappoint too badly in my opinion, it was really good considering. The only thing they kinda took out was the drug use and deathly overdose 😞to Nana's lover. It sent an important message and they should have put it in the anime.
@Yumimi from what I remember, in the anime there was a scene where Yasu was yelling at Ren, telling him to stop, and Ren was saying yes to him while being high. That was the only time I saw the anime mentioning Ren's drug addiction.

I discovered this anime back in 2007. I saw a poster with the two Nanas, and the DVD complete series at an Anime-Expo. It caught my attention because I found Nana (Osaki) very cute looking. I was about to buy Nana, Berserk (97) and Naruto Shippuden DVD, but I was short of money and I had to take one and ditch the others. After watching it recently, I am truly regretting choosing Naruto Shippuden over Nana or even Berserk but well... I was a 14 y/o teen. To think a superficial reason could get me into one of the best anime I have ever seen.

This anime hits me in a different way. I went through an extremely intense relationship where my girlfriend had borderline disorder, and it was a roller coaster between very good and very bad moments. At the time, I didn't pay much attention to the lyrics of the songs, but now that we've broken up, every lyric from the songs in this anime fits perfectly with our relationship. It's funny...
Ren should have been the guitarist in the Blackstones, he wouldn't have died and so much drama would have been avoided. The other group caused a lot of drama, first Takumi with Hachi and then Reira with Ren (because of her he died)
