- Another improvement of my fastest lap around Spa Francorchamps: 2.30.94! Had a lot of traffic last sunday @ Spa. Even in this fast lap, I lost a lot of time in Blanchimont... So there is still room for improvement next time 😉

You Must remember that the Old 500cc Class was 2 Stroke, so the Power was in the First Gears incredible
Was the only difference in lay out was the chicane right before the start finish?

Love this track. I once did a track day here on my ZXR750 (1993 model). I think that was in 2005 or something. I still have a knee down photo of the fast left hander hanging on the wall. After the track day we just drove our bikes back home (NL ☺️). #goodtimes

@@user-qn7uj6bu9l your 100% right any of the liter bikes are super fast it’s all about the rider,, but some liter bikes can make it a little easier on the rider,, just look at toprak he had fight and claw for every thing he got on the Yamaha,, and now he’s on the bmw , he’s on another level,, that bmw has helped him big time,, all I’m saying the bike can help

I use various sensors from PZRacing (brake pressure, heart rate...) and connect it to my PZRacing laptimer, together with a CAN-BUS connection from the ZX-10R ECU. Then I can download all the data from the PZRacing laptimer (Start Next) to my pc and put it in the video with Racerender 3!

Ik heb geen motorrijbewijs dus zal deze vraag wel een beetje dom zijn maar waarom zit je op het rechte stuk op ongeveer 80% van je remvermogen?
De rode balk met Brk staat voor het de remdruk die je uitoefent op de (voor)remhendel. Het is niet op alle momenten mogelijk om met evenveel kracht in de remhendel te knijpen, zelfs niet op een recht stuk. Bijvoorbeeld omdat het achterwiel los komt van de grond/grip verliest of omdat de baan hobbels heeft... Bij het remmen op de Kemel straight knijp ik het hardste, daar gaat de baan ook nog wat omhoog, dus dat maakt het "makkelijker' om harder te remmen. + er zijn ook nog punten waar ik (nog) niet hard genoeg en dus laat genoeg rem... Nog ruimte voor verbetering dus ;)

No, Even the lap record holder for bikes shifts down 2 gears for Blanchimont. For (some) cars it is possible.
What tires do you use ?
@@oitaeduard I always use Dunlop tires, KR109 MS3 in the front and KR108 MS1 in the rear this time.

Why doesn’t moto gp race at spa?
The most important reason is the safety... at some points there is not that much run off. Hopefully they can fix this issue, but for sure not in the first couple of years.
