Ooh you're South African. Nice, this means the information is even more relevant to me since I'm also in SA. Recently got a job offer as a credit risk analyst but got a degree in a different field so I've got a lot of learning to do.
So why are banks wastiing money on this if these models don't work? There is a job as quant developer in credit risk and i want to find out if it is worth to go this route as developer. Thanks for answers
