A month later and still I just adore this first scene for some reason. Emma's so freakin' cute! All the facial expressions; trying to talk and chew toast; that smirk when she says, "You're right, l am amazing." And especially when she eases toward 'in love/concerned Charity': The voice becomes gentler, the facial features soften, as she says, "So... are you okay?" In those few words, you can see, hear and almost feel the love Charity has for Vanessa. Oh to be Vanessa... One can still dream and imagine, eh? And although Vanessa acts shy and embarrassed when Charity suggests she's looking forward to being repaid, in some way, other than breakfast meats.... my mind goes off on a tangent, imagining innovative ways she might achieve that goal. And yes, even at my age (clears throat, whispers, "over 50", while cringing), my mind is often 'in the gutter'. Helps keep the gears upstairs oiled and moving, at the very least. LOL. The scene about Mike's dogs, Paddy and the financial worries, was comic brilliance!! He's so funny with his stuttering, babbling and rabbit trailing during conversations. At first, I thought the bonkers car returning fiasco, leading to treating Mike's dogs for free, was going to be the writers excuse to push Paddy and Vanessa into taking the deal with Kim. But, I know better now and can only see them as someone wanting to have these particular comical scenes, since it appears to play very little, if any part, in the overall story arch. Must be hard keeping up with where these stories are actually going with all these branches... leading nowhere. It's like they are often flying by the seat of their pants, but eventually get there nonetheless. I'd really love to see how all this behind the scenes stuff happens and how it all comes together. Cause we, the audience, have no idea what they go through to make these scenes and stories. It looks effortless to us, but I assume it's not as easy as it seems. And... not for us to know. LOL.
Although the storyline was funny, returning the car to it's owner was totally bonkers!! Yet it was so good to see the chemistry between Charity and Vanessa again! Love to watch Emma play the teasingly gentler side of Charity's character. Such a good actress!!!
I can see the deal with Mike is what's going to delay the wedding most likely! I really hope they try to come up with scams together to try and get the money. After all, Vanessa needs to hone in her criminal skills. We know she has the bull, just not finesse. I can see comedy gold with these two!
Well we are getting closer to a bedroom scene, at least their at the bottom of the stairs..honestly tho I think this should have played the other way around, Charity should have been the one making breakfast & thanking V for being so understanding, after all shes the one who had to watch Charity flirt with a man for business reasons, which had to hurt & she wouldn't have been involved with any of this in the first place if it wasnt for Charities dodgy business.
I'm with you. Totally Charity's fault this whole thing, if you ask me. I wish - although I love the two of them together - Vanessa wouldn't always take on Charity's flaws and mistakes as hers just because Charity's not good in apologizing. That's not at all healthy for the durability of a long term relationship.
Getting closer, Sam. There's still hope....I thought it was nice, though, that Charity showed support for a change. Her caring side coming out with just a touch of sarcasm.😉
@@GettingOverYouAgain I agree it's definitely not healthy for a relationship, Charity needs to make a few changes starting with taking Vanessa's feeling into consideration a little more often. I hope the writers dont go down this dodgy path again, it doesnt suit Vanessa at all...lots of nicer storylines to be had.
I LOVE HOW VANESSA AND CHARITY IS IN LOVE WITH EACH OTHER, ESP, THEIR EYES N SMILES. A ND CARE...
The cutest couple in emmerdale by far
Have so enjoyed Vanessa’s first Dingle scam! 😂 I hope that they will do more as this has been wonderfully comedic!!
I love these two. 💕 They just fit. 🤗

@@susanliebrecht7763 yes we havent lost hope yet,. I just love Charities caring side, I hope we get to see it a little more often..
we will never see a bedroom seen as this program goes out at 7pm and it’s before the watershed
Was anyone else hoping that this storyline was going to lead to Vanessa having to play her own twin? Would have been comedy gold, that...
lol. I would've loved to have seen that
