Not only most Malaysians speak english, there are plenty of english local radio stations as well. Also, most of the signboards, general instructions, manuals, local apps etc are also in english. If u go to Thailand, China, Japan etc.... that is not the case at all.
If you like Eco tourism, in peninsular Malaysia alone there're so many places to explore. You can try Royal Belum, Taman Negara and Kuala Selangor to name a few. That's not even taking into account the incredible spots in East Malaysia!😊
You are welcome, as we are not perfect, but kindly respect local values and culture.. make us low profile so Malaysia become special for less people.. cheers..
Once you go outside Selangor and KL, you will discover lots of villages and forest in other states. KL and Selangor when combined contribute almost 40% of Malaysia's GDP. The difference in lifestyle, the living pace and modernity level is significant.
I disagree with the air quality in Malaysia. It depends on season. If the neighbouring counntry like Indonesia where if they start burning their forest then there will be bad haze for certain months of the year. The haze could get pretty bad if the forest burning happens. Just be aware about that.
Thank you for your very nice comments about Malaysia! And agree with you too that Malaysia is not perfect & there are restrictions but not as strict as Singapore. The main thing here is that everyone needs to respect each other sensitivity & 3R, racial, religion & royal.

As foreign travellers, it's normal to make comparisons, in general to the places they've travelled to, regardless how small or how big the countries. There are other aspects to make comparisons, other than a country's size.

Haha very observant, yep we re did this one, just want to make sure Australians see how much we love Malaysia
@themothfamily Haha. Wonderful. You guys have a Merry Christmas. 😀
We love Malaysia as a homebase!❤🇲🇾
Wow, great comparison especially with Australia. It is expensive here but I'm glad it's affordable over there in Malaysia.
So, so much truth in this video! When one's mind is open...

Respect is something missing in western culture these days
Wrong!
As a non western person, here is an unpopular opinion but need to be said...this could be due to immigration.
No problem to understand Aussie english, on the other hand, i need an extra ear to catch the scots accent😂
I probably would still prefer to be in Vietnam. But you are right the low English is still a huge barrier.
it's nice to work n earn in Singapore ...but it's definitely a smart choice to stay spent n retire in Malaysia....🎉😅

Accents are an issue for general Malaysians to deal with. Hence, speak slower and simple sentences, or even use a single word.
