I am and always have been a boxing fan since 12 and I myself boxed at a legit boxing gym with a great trainer who was a very good amateur and up and up and coming heavyweight prospect. After seeing that fight, I was super impressed with how streamlined, polished and frankly how far the science of fighting in MMA has come since it's (recent in the development of fighting systems) inception. Santos game-plan was by far the best we’ve seen against jones. He was smart with his strikes and was actually putting more leg kick pressure on jones (jones secret weapon) he also paced himself perfectly. This was actually more of an exciting fight with Jones than in recent times. Santos was clearly giving him problems with the hands and kicks. Jones was timid! He was timid going into the exchanges with this guy and he comes right out and says it after the fight, he was thrown off by Santos. It was a good fight.
