    I see a few hate comments on here regarding this tutorial. Some I assume have gymnastics backgrounds. I for one have know I'm depth knowledge of gymnastics to really criticize but I do have a background in dance and bboying and form is not heavily stressed, not that it's not important but dance is about style and expression. I think your tutorials are awesome and if there clearly working for people then keep doing your thing guys.

      I don't think it's training. It's just practice. Not gonna happen.. BTW I train my abs n glutes daily.

    These are good exercises to get the one arm handstand, but by no means it's only going to take 3 month, especially if you don't have a perfect straight handstand for at least 30s in the beginning...

    For powermoves, it is necessary to work out to endure longer and powerful powermoves? Like, should I condition my body, weight lift, swim, run, yoga, etc.. in order to have really strong powermoves? i personally dislike working out and doing repetition for non-powermove exercises. OR just stick to the exercises of SOLPM? i have many friends who tell me to do many pushups, pullups, running, etc. Just wanted your opinion.

      Yes and because the public learned with half of the numbers on average. We know this better now so we keep updating our project to make it always better. Thank you for the support.

    I think that your exercises are great for the one arm handstand. But for hold a good one arm handstand, it take more longer because you need to integrate how your body will rebalancing himself. A lot of motivation is required also. Nevertheless good video man.

Saludos 🤜🤛

      Egidello Take a break and after some days you return to it. It is better that you do not overwhelm your body. You may always stretch beforehand as well. Watch the video "SOLPM stretching". There are some good shoulder and arms exercises.

    man do you need a split for this range of leg in handstand??

  • @mostlyfresh
    @mostlyfresh 9 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    hey! thanks for the effort, this video probably could of been less than 2 minutes long though. honestly i think anyone with a controlled handstand could learn in a month without being as rigorous as you prescribe but your one arm stand is better than mine so i'll accept based on your credentials.

    • @TheScienceofLearningPowerMove
      @TheScienceofLearningPowerMove  9 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      mostlyfresh Thank you mostlyfresh. The SOLPM is more a type of framework and we encourage people to train according to their limits and circumstances. Some will learn it faster others will prefer a more detailed approach since the beginning. Important thing is to keep a linear sense of progress and be aware of your body.

    • @TheScienceofLearningPowerMove
      @TheScienceofLearningPowerMove  10 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Jorge Andres Riaño You develop handstand in step 1. If you dont do it we suggest that you keep training for some weeks only step 1 and then everything will flow it more easily.

    I have a big problem today, i did to much on one hand (the left arm) and now my left side of the body is really bigger than the right side and i can feel this when i'm doing a simple handstand what should i do because it's not only an unbalance of the right arm or what it's about all the right side from the shoulder until the abs but the right side i feel that is weaker really

    • @tevai2107
      @tevai2107 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Simon Attal . I had the same problem 2 years ago with my left arm who was the weaker arm . U only have to work u'r right arm more than u train u'r left arm . U can tchek calisthenicmovement they have a video where they give some tips to corret this :)

    im a gymnastics coach and I didn't find this tutorial bad at all.....yes his form is shit, everything about it sucks, but the fact is he still can balance on one hand. TSOLPM, you guys have great tutorials, from the few ive watched at least. I do like the way you have these moves broken down just add a little more detail for the narcissistic pricks you have on here

    • @command9759
      @command9759 9 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      This is a b-boy channel. We are not thinking about form in the same way gymnastics do.. Toes should be the opposite etc. No pointing allowed!

    • @TheHDB97
      @TheHDB97 9 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      yeah but the guy I was replying to said any gymnast trained on the floor and blah blah would scoff at his form. this tutorial is bad because his form sucks (his words not mine). I was defending your bboy channel my friend not attacking lol

    You forget about one important thing. If you learn some new trick or move, try to do this on both sides not on one, beacuse it's unhealthy to muscles and bones. Handstanding only on right hand make corebone unnaturally.
