we arent bodies with souls, we are souls with bodies. We are the driver, and just like a driver when your car breaks down, you simply get out of the car. Its that simple

I'm losing my husband to a long battle to Cancer😢 and doesn't have very much longer. My 90 lb German Shepherd turned 12 & suddenly declining. He is my best friend, companion and loyal protector. My husband & I got married 13 yrs ago in our 50's. We always said he's our son/ child we never had together.
My dog weighs more than my own husband, he barely weighs 80 lbs. I've thought if they went around the same time I would have them cremated together, since he is also my husband's best friend.

My mom and sister were on a reading with you, and a lot of other people too, of course. But, you were very confused by a “honey” colored dog and a black pug that continued to come through to you at this particular reading. I believe that honey colored dog was my father’s, who had passed, I took care of Honey, the pit bull, for 5 years until she passed away, 6 months prior to this reading. The black pug was my sisters dog, the one who was at the reading! I’m just happy to know that Honey is doing well, walking, running and I will see her again. I hope you see this. ❤

It is true that your loved one can visit you. My mother passed away 2 1/2 weeks before my birthday. 2 years later I was living in Japan and on my birthday, and suddenly felt a warm and loving presence sitting beside me. I knew it was my mother and she spent about 2 minutes with me. Her visit was so unexpected, but I felt her love and I was so happy. It's a memory I will always treasure.

That's a wonderful memory. I too have one that when it happened, it surprised the heebie jeebies out of me... LOL!,
but then I thought it had to, no doubt, be my mother. A few days after she passed, I was on my desktop computer, at the time. It was about 2 or 3 in the morning, when I decided to quit and go to bed. I pressed the key to shut down the computer and sat back in my chair waiting for the computer to finish the process. Then nothing but a complete blue screen came on and in the middle of the screen appeared my mother's email address. I thought, how did that happen? I didn't type it. I wasn't touching the keyboard. The computer then cut offf. That made me smile, afterwards and I went to bed. That is a memory, I will always cherish .. 🫠.

Dalen spratt did a spirit box session with a family and all of the family was buried together but the dad died last and was cremated . His family said it was horrible , but he didn’t . And they said he was above ground and they weren’t ? When asked about it , they said it’s like being in different rooms of the same house .
When I dreamt about my grandma , she was with her friends in one room of a house and he was in another , they were all playing cards together lol . Just letting me know they’re fine . ❤.
It cinched it for me , I want to be cremated

My brother passed away unexpectedly on vacation 5 states away from home. My sister-in-law struggled with the lesser expense to cremate instead of having his body transported back home. She, being a religious person, had a hard time with that ultimate decision and I, being more spiritually inclined, tried to reassure her it did not matter. However, after giving the devastating news to my mom who at the time was in a nursing home and questioning my own-self during that very low and difficult convo, driving away I decided to just ask out loud to my brother “am I right?” Immediately I heard ( in my head, in my brother’s voice) “I don’t care about THAT body!” So I know exactly what Matt is saying is so true and correct.

I get soooo many confirmations. It's amazing. Its comforting. I know im very lucky to have his soul around me daily. Yesterday was his birthday. The last 5 days hes been playing me music from movie and picks us a movie every day by playing a song from it. :-) 5 days consistently now........ hes coming on holiday with us to greece in 16 days hes told me so hahahahahahahaha. Its a beautiful thing. 😍

It's very difficult some fay's and overwhelming but th3 comfort it brings I have no fear when ita my time as he's told me he'll be coming to get me to pass over. :-)

2 weeks ago my hubby and I went to the cemetery, Dad is in an anonymous field (his wish), Mom a little further up in the forest. Anyway: That night while I was in the state between awake and sleep he came by for a visit. I saw him walking along the street, he looked up the hill where I was, smiled and waved. Made me feel really good that he saw us putting fresh flowers by the statue overlooking the field. He hadn't been by for a visit in a year and a half and that was right before my husband's surgery.
And yes, I had a talk with all the departed family members to watch over him. 😊

I recently took a trip to my home state to visit my sister. While she was at work every day, I took to visiting the two cemeteries where our family are buried. I had the best time “visiting” and ended up cleaning the stones, trimming the grass and planting flowers while trying to connect. I did the same for my childhood best friend’s parents. I hope all the souls’ graves I tended to knew I was there remembering them.

As a hospice nurse I've been thinking about this a whole lot. The other day I was standing by a patient who was actively dying and his caregiver was discussing funeral plans. Suddenly I was overcome with the fact that in just a few days, this body before me was going to be burned. I felt actual fear, and I wondered if I was feeling what this poor man was feeling. I have heard the sense of hearing is the last to go, so I quickly changed the subject.

That not true, go in your filing cabinet and it will be in there, so he immediately looked, found it and in it said that she had wanted to be cremated, and he had remembered the conversation he had with her regarding that, and it was good that she was because it saved a family feud between myself and my brothers over that, so we had our Dad have the honor of picking out where to place her ashes after she was cremated. Regarding getting your pets cremated: I do have a petting zoo in bedroom corner, but they are all of my furbabies. I paid extra to do the individual cremation. My family has strict instructions to put the urns and rosewood boxes at the foot of my casket when I die. I have put that instruction on my contract with the funeral home as well. As I told the director and my family, "I am only 5'0" on a good day, and there's at least two feet of dead space at the foot of that casket, no pun intended. Fill 'er up!".

When my son died a few months ago we decided to cremate him because of what he did, we didn’t want to see him that way, we split his ashes up with me, his birth father and his fiancé. The day before his memorial I was sitting on the couch and I smelled a burning formaldehyde smell, i could smell it and taste it , and I knew he was being cremated, i felt him with me. I don’t know why I had that experience but I hope he wasn’t upset with us for doing that. He had wanted to be an organ doner but it was impossible because of the way he died and because he was gone. We are so devastated that we want to move away, it’s hard living here now.

He also says never take anything home with you from the cemetary, not even a rock. He had a few reasons why, but it has been so long since I seen it, I don't remember exactly.

Don’t know if this is relevant but I used to live in a 1920 Spanish Mission cottage in Miami. At night, only in my bedroom, could I hear, old-fashioned parlor, music, and somebody calling my name. I was OK with the music but the calling of my name got to be creepy so I just told him to knock it off, and that stopped but I could always hear the music. When I got married after about three weeks, my spouse set up in bed one night and said, do you hear that music? This was every night for 10 years

Earth to earth, dust to dust, ashes to ashes. You don't need your body. You're body returns to where it comes from. Your spirit goes to a realm of the departed and waits there. Who knows resurrection, maybe you get a new body, but I dont think it will be the same as this physical one.

So good to hear that it does not matter if buried or cremated.
Sadly bad things happened in my family, but my mom always tried to make the best out of it and she was singing and yodel a lot and wanted us to be happy. But somehow she felt not expected by my fathers side and they where very rude to her. Also she was somehow afraid they would poison her. I had to make a decision and I left with my husband to his homeland over the big ocean. And left everything behind. ❤ my mom and my dad was also a good man. My dad past my mom past my husband past. I was wondering if my mom can come see us and see where we live even if she past in Europe wondering if she can find us.
She has birthday tomorrow and would be 83 years young. My children love to think on the nice time with her. She will be always in our hearts.
Thanks Matt for your openness and helping us to get rid of our worries.

When my cat was about to pass away I called a local vet & asked them about cremation costs. They too, had those same options as your MIL. If I wanted, just my cat’s remains, it would cost almost $900. If I went with the multi pet option it was about $400. Luckily, I was able to bury my cat at my parent’s home instead.
