His DIO cover was good work, in my opinion, and I do not believe anyone could argue DIO had anything other than an amazing vocals.
Since this song is my favorite song ever recorded I was reluctant to listen to this cover in fear of the song being ruined. You had some big shoes to fill and you filled them and walked in them with awesome stride. You stayed true to the original but put your own little tewsts on it. You honored Rolling Stones with an awesome cover. Awesome work!

The secret to covering this song is that you gotta exhaust yourself singing it. If you're not on the floor, sweating at the end of the song then you didn't do it right.
Patrick it is not even a 5 minute song. Corey’s vocals has a lot more endurance than Mick Jagger’s. The Rolling Stones is not near as great as people over exaggerate them to be.

I was expecting a very mediocre job in which Corey and Lzzy forced the heavy metal in to the classical rock of this song....but this was amazing. It's great to see they respect the original feel of the sing, but add their own style. Both Corey and Lzzy sound really good here.

Here's an interesting fact: Lzzy Hale is covering the part of Merry Clayton on this track. Merry Clayton was pregnant during the recording of the original. She had a miscarriage shortly after the completion of the track. It is thought that her exertion during recording led to the loss of her child. Also, Merry Clayton sang background vocals for the song, "Sweet Home Alabama" by Lynyrd Skynyrd.
