For this fourth day of Vlogmas, I went to an island hopping adventure in Bantayan Island and here are the places that we visited:

Snorkeling near Hilantagaan Island can be dangerous if you don't swim well because the current is so strong. So it's very important that you put on your vest properly. The area in Virgin Island near the floating cottage also has a very strong current so you need to be careful, always wear life vest or floatation device.

You should have done the cliff jumping on the farther side of the island. There are more cool swimming spots along the way.

Hi JM! Yung 1,000 na yun per head binayaran niyo? Or share ng kasabay?
That's per boat. The rate is per boat. Most boat rentals there are small with maximum capacity of 5 passengers only plus 2 boatmen. If you're alone, they'll ask you if you want to share with other strangers or you do it alone. The registrants are the municipality employees, not the private tour operators. The island hopping in Bantayan Island is quite different from island hopping in Mactan or Cebu mainland. The island hopping activities there are highly regulated and controlled by the local government, at least in Santa Fe. So guests are safe from scalpers or fixers or scammers. You pay only after the tour. Tipping is a must because the crew really work hard for you and do some errands for you. You also need to share your food to them especially if you eat lunch on any of the islands. They are very nice people, very polite and respectful to their guests. During our tour, we gave them P200 for their tip for the 5 hours of tour because they deserve it. The rate is only for one island or destination for 5 hours. For every additional destination, as shown on the billboard, you add between P300-P800 depending on the distance between the two destinations.

I love the virgin island .. sayang di mo napuntahan yung part na may malaking mermaid statue and kung saan pwede ka mag sulat ng pangalan sa cactus although di ko ginawa hehehe.. plus yung cliff diving sa dulo... Anywhere sa virgin island is insta worthy
