It took me a lot of years to learn not to buy things I wanted vs. the things I needed. Once I started giving to the church and to other charities, it seems the more money I have to do more with. I'm not rich, but it seems I have more than enough. 😊
I couldn’t agree with you more! Now that we have church matters to deal with , my attitude towards needs/wants is changing. God is supply our needs and we can do so much more for the kingdom of God
Thank you for that. Very good message. I needed it. I have an addiction of buying Bibles. I must have around 25 of them. I love collecting Bibles but I only use two or three of them. I need to start exercising self control, pray and fast.

Amen. About four years ago, God put it on my heart to work in discerning wants from needs. (As well as practicing more gratefulness for what I do have.)
I am glad you mentioned the Bible community in this video. I belong to journaling Facebook groups and watch journaling and review videos. I must be careful because without the right mindset, I could be tempted that I need all these extra things (or premium Bibles I cannot justify buying). As you said, every now and again, someone will mention feeling uncomfortable or question the stack of 10 identical premium Bibles, and they get "pounced" on in the comments (or in a video).
It’s still very fresh for myself to have this new mindset. Fear kept me from talking about it . I had to stop following a lot of people and groups myself. I know this will take continue work and prayer 🙏🏾.
