If they cancel 2A and roll out Central Bank Digital Currency....that's it. They have full and total control. Means they can give and take money whenever they want, they can just turn off your account. You say, do, or post something they dont like...no money for you. Then freedom of speech dies, freedom to protest, freedom of religion. One by one all your rights are gone.

Back when my dad was in the Air Force, he put in 30 years. We had to get along with everybody. It didn't matter what color you were. It didn't matter what rank, nothing mattered. Everybody was one and that's the way it should be. We didn't have all this garbage that's going on now. And we were very patriotic. 🇺🇸
Well we did have Race relations training, in the late 60's early 70's. As the Race riots where in full swing, and many brought those battles into the Military. But mostly the good guys, of all races, got the message. We're all Green, and bleed Red.

Then my Dad in the Navy after Japan bombed Pearl Harbor and on down the line cousins, niece's. We were taught History and family took us to Arlington National Cemetery and all that and Souls do not have

The fact that what kind of SOCKS is even something people need to feel “included” is literally the most trivial and ridiculous thing I’ve heard so far. And I’m like 20 minutes in.

Like the military hasn't had 200 years of experience with foot-rot or swamp-foot to know what kind of socks are the best for our soldiers to wear. So ankle socks might be okay as a gimmick to recruit kids in high school, but I seriously doubt it's standard military issued as part of the uniform.
On a side note, my Dad was in the Army back in the 50's & he said Army socks were the best & warmest socks he's ever owned. So he only wore green Army socks, from Army surplus, everyday after that until he passed away at 85 in 2018.

When I was in the Marine Corps from 2001 to 2005 the only racism I witnessed was my Platoon Sergeant treating all the white people in the platoon like garbage while he fast tracked his buddies to promotion boards.

Army here. '72-78 The only racism I saw in the Army was Negroes making things hard for Whites........roaming around in groups of 4-6 harassing lone Whites and such as that.

Finally someone who understands what its like to be in a squad. Also....do you know why females don't get mixed up in infantry? Because when you get men and women together.....they always seem to hook up. Which leads to soldiers fighting each other. Division. We've done this test. We had females living in our infantry battalion.

A true gay, lesbian, or trans does not make their sexual preference a social topic but a personal one and you don’t need to teach them how to do it. Teaching someone to be racist and a victim definitely weakens our military. And slavery of Indians, blacks, and Asians was settled in the civil war. All slaves were given the choice whether to be taken home to Africa or make their home America free citizens. It was worse in Africa evidently bc they saved money and made a statue to Lincoln which the non voting member of congress wants to tear down. She evidently doesn’t know it’s true meaning.

I went through bootcamp in 1981 and we didn't have this DEI bullshit. We needed to know that the person next to us had to have our back. This DEI crap is doing nothing but causing distrust.

Exactly! Under Trump the military didn’t decrease. The jab caused a big decrease then DEI made it further decrease. Their goal is to destroy our ruggedness. It’s one of the communist rule book for a revolution play book. They know it. Obama did the same thing. My nephew was discharge 1 month after Biden took office. So even before the jab there was a decrease.

Soldiers should always meet the same benchmark as everyone in a group. You cant have everyone preoccupied with protecting 1 person to do their job. And reducing those benchmark means you lose. You can add a group that demands less and put them on easier missions but they still need to do their jobs.

As a former infantryman, I agree. The focus of our military needs to be lethality and the ability to win in combat. When lethality and the ability to win in combat are put secondary to anything, our lethality will decline.

I can say that when I was stationed there in the late 70’s, the Cheyenne community was not very tolerant of airmen living in their communities!
There were several establishments that were off limits to Air Force personnel because the people of Cheyenne didn’t need a reason to beat up an airman just because they walked in the door!

A lot of them also don't want to sign up again because they feel like they're paying the army to be in the army, and the housing on base that they have to live in is bad. So if Congress really wanted to know what was going on, they should go visit the bases and talk to the soldiers.

It is a voluntary military. If there is a disparity in percentages of representation in the military compared to civilian life, it is due to choices made by those civilians, voluntarily. At about 24:00 the person says something like anyone courageous enough to meet the high standards should be able to serve. That should be the only determining factor. If you want to serve, you get to serve if you qualify. No one wants to keep a volunteer out. The problem is many don't want to go in the first place, not because the military is bad, but they don't want to do the work required. They also don't get retained because they want to pursue private sector work/college/etc. I always say, no matter if it is a police force, fire department, medical provider, etc., if you want to see a change in the way it is being performed, join up, and lead by example. I pursued a private sector line of work, so I could be around to have children while I was young. I applaud those that do civil/medical service and military work for the rest of us. No one is stopping anyone from doing what they want in America. Every single foreign born person I know is successful, and grateful for the opportunities in America. They all tell me American's have no clue how good they have it.
If I were a young man or woman that wanted a career in the military and I listened to this hearing I would not want to join either. Teamwork, unity, and excellent training and knowing your unit has your back is what is important not all this stupid DEI BS.
ProMotion and career interest should be based on an individual’s hard work, service dedication, and purpose not what color your skin is or gender. Some of these reps act like based on a person’s skin color as soon as they enlist your supposed to give them a promotion based on skin color you have to earn what you get period.
