It's been a year now after decades of inactivity. As part of my my spiritual re-education I have been listening to BYU and Ensign college devotionals and this morning was prompted to go to BYU- H devotionals. This has been good for me. Thank you.

Saying “yes, and…” can feel so tricky these days because whether you know it or not, so many things end up being political; twisted against you. I’m grateful for this profound yet measured invitation to seek beauty, truth, and understanding wherever and from whomever it may be found.

The problem with following Joseph Smith is that he set himself up to be equal or more important than Jesus Christ.

Joseph Smith and Moses never intended any one to hero worship them. That is up to each individual and that individual clearly doesn’t understand their teachings.
The Mosaic Law and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints have the same leader; Jesus Christ.
Moses and Joseph ONLY taught that Jesus Christ is the ONLY name under heaven whereby mankind can be saved.

We only look to men & women because they point us home to the Father by the life, person & attributes of our Savior Jesus Christ.
We know that entering & keeping unbreakable covenants with Jesus Christ is our only hope for life everlasting.
That is our belief. I hope this helps you to understand that we worship God the Father, His only begotten Son & Savior of this & many worlds & the Holy Ghost who testifies of each.
May you be open to the Spirit of truth & God bless you for your curiosity & willingness to listen.
      Thank you.
