Korean and Indonesian were collaborated with English and a little Japanese, then learning the Chinese slang. This is the kind of content I wanna see more in Hololive (I mean she’s grown up in South Korea since being able to remember.)
I used Haiyyaaa and Fuiyyoo back in my childhood .. Haiyyaa is a Cantonese slang to let out a Frustration But here in Malaysia EAST COAST Sabah , Chinese people here still using this slang and there's another one , ""Aiiyya"" without H which used when they're shocked
Old chinese people in Indonesia also often use that, my grandma often use that sentence (she's born in 1921) but younger generation not using haiya anymore because Indonesian chinese now days is more Indonesian than chinese, meaning they mostly lost their chinese identity, most of us doesn't even know chinese languages 😂
Not really. I think it's just used in south-east Asia. Just like Kanade don't know "Haiyaa". I have never heard a Korean or Japanese use it. Even in China, I have only heard it from a southern region.
For every haiyaa there must be an equal numbers of fuiyooohh... Also can you make a clip where Kanade cheered on Kaela by singing? It was such a wholesome moment..
I love how multilingual things are getting. Starting with almost everyone - even in ID an EN - learning or knowing JA a lot of the girls working on their English, then there are some knowing KO or ZH, also ID being touched upon even if mostly just lightly... Come to think of it, does Kiara still do DE streams from time to time... maybe member only? I don't recall seeing any for a while.
Just Kaela teaching new word to her new daughter
I can almost hear the '' HAJIMYAH'' after each haiya

Who else just gets Jackie Chan Adventure flashbacks hearing them say "Haiyaa"
In the Philippines, it's "Hay naku" which can be translated "Oh my goodness" which can be said in an exasperated or surprised tone.
"Haiyaa lu ngapain aja,lu cuma bisa minta duit, emang gue punya pohon duit ha!" That was Koko's scolding with his son
the haiyaa/aigoo/ara in Indonesia would be aduh, duhhh, or hadeh.
Haiyaaaa😂
