One of my favorite aspects of Discover Double Bass is that they always ask about the player’s instrument in addition to their career and musical approach. Usually the kind of thing we wonder about after initially being attracted to the player’s music is what kind of bass are they playing/who owned it before/etc. Really would have loved to hear a minute or two of Barry talking about his American Standard !
