Yes you lay flat and I don't feel like it moves too much as you get into it. Not anymore than a regular hammock. It really depends on if you have an air mattress or not. Thanks for watching!

I'm not a hammock guy but I'm eventually going to have to try something like your setup .. Minnesota Mike would sure like me to haha.
