The men and women of I.A.F.F. Local 1590, Wilmington, DE Fire Department, wish to thank all of our fellow firefighters, other public safety personnel, families, friends, local businesses and the general public for your condolences, well wishes, inquiries and support, as we deal with the tragic loss of two brothers, Lt. Chris Leach and Sr. Ffr. Jerry Fickes, in a row house fire early on Saturday, September 24, 2016. The outpouring of love and caring in your expressions of sympathy has been incredible. The bonds we share are never stronger than when facing a challenge and you have provided us with strength and understanding, during this difficult time, that mere words cannot begin to express.
We will keep everyone updated on the condition of Sr. Ffr. Ardythe Hope and Ffr. Brad Speakman, as they recuperate from their injuries. We will also advise everyone as arrangements are completed for services for our departed brothers.
I.A.F.F. Local 1590 thanks everyone and asks for your continued prayers for our departed and injured members, their families and our membership.
