To all of you complaining that this video was not produced by Stephen Spielberg... I'll call a whaaaambulance for you. You can, AT THE LEAST, say THANK YOU. This guy took the time to help others, like yourself, with Keurig issues. Despite the lack of a Hollywood-produced, cinematic feature presentation... the video does exactly what it was meant to do: IT SOLVES A PROBLEM. If it doesn't solve your problem, oh well. You'll just have to pin your hopes on some other big-hearted person who's only trying to help others, or deal with Keurig's customer service. Willy, like every other person who makes the effort to save you time, money, and aggravation, is not in charge of your good time, your coffee maker, nor your high standards, especially when you're complaining about the lack of good, FREE help. If you think a professionally-produced video will somehow solve the same problem any better... then you have no business fixing anything yourself. No one forced you to watch it. And I'm sure you've pissed away more than 8 minutes on less-fruitful pursuits. By the way... I didn't see any of YOUR videos.
This video solved my "my k-cup" brewing problems. I have the exact same machine and the exact same "my k-cup" resuable filter and I had the EXACT same problems with the reusable filter leaking water all over the place. I found this video and followed the instructions. I went to the hardware store, purcahsed a $.49 1/2" flat washer, brought it home, tried it out and IT WORKS!!!! Thank you SO MUCH for posting this video! You. Are. Awesome!
Thanks for solving my Keurig problem so simply. After watching the video and understanding the problem I actually tried John Mazzone's suggestion first and very easily adjusted the existing gasket which was instantly effective. Really appreciate it!!!
I also seen cutting old cup below the ridge pull filter and squish it in the holder. using that small hole much better coffee. but... it comes out the top. you fixed the whole mess with a five cent washer!!!! amazing!!!! blessings.
It's November 2017 and you are a GENIUS! I don't have that k-cup, but I have one of those reuseable k-cups that has that indentation. It was most frustrating that I could not get a cup of coffee without water running down the back of the thing, together with the coffee. THANK YOU! I didn't have a 1/2" washer, but I have a container of O-rings. I put 2 of those together (one inside of the other) and glued the things to the lids of those k-cups (after I tried it and it WORKED)! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!!
This works very nicely. What I've found also is by cutting the too off a used k-cup and trimming to fit and placing in the bottom of the My K-Cup it will work more like an actual K-Cup and make everything taste better. Experiment with placing of the hole in the bottom of the plastic K-Cup. Personally I like it to be in the center.
Washer not needed: When the handle is closed, inserts into the hole in the reusable filter. Surrounding this needle is a rubber gasket. Gently pull this gasket down a little bit. Be careful, not to pull it off completely. Once I did that no more mess and better tasting coffee.

All I did was call the company. They told me to look up into the machine there should be like a rubber cork rt under the needle and that was missing. I do not know how it came off but they sent me the rubber cork and I put it on there and it solved the problem :)
Thank You, You were calm and very methodical in your explanation. I am on my way HD to get a 1/2 inch washer and have a grind free cup of coffee. Keurig has got to know that there is a problem.
with the my K-Cup you can also remove foil from K-Cup remove filter, put inside My K-Cup. Put my K-Cup reusable fitler in on top with coffee. put lid on and wala you get a full bodied cup of coffee.
If you look up at the needle on the top you will see that your missing the original washer that came with the machine. My friend just ordered it and they sent it for free so you try calling Keurig and never have another problem with it. We did it and now we don't have that problem.
My brewer does the same thing with the regular K cups. I cleaned the top needle with a paper clip, but it still leaks all over just like in this video. Any thoughts?
This is just idea. Why not put paper clip threw the whole take the top peice of the cup glue the washer down with glue that can tolerate heat. So don't have to stress about the washer each time. Plus paper clip prevents the hole glueing shut
I agree. My brain can't wait through all the uh and um. And have your keurig aleatory heated geez is that so hard? Plus have props ready. That was ok. My problem is I use refillable k cups not attachment. It leaks bad. Try again with less talk more show

No glue could handle that steam and hot water heat. I doubt that would be safe anyways.
are those rubber washers safe? having piping hot water drip through them every day, will it leach chemicals? that is my only worry.
Are you serious? I'd be more worried about all the soft plastic being used that's the reason I won't brew with a keruig.
