I was in college in Arizona during the Super Bowl some years back when an offensive lineman planted and his lower leg snapped about 4 yards inches above his ankle. Every time they played the replay you could hear sympathetic groans throughout the entire garden apartment complex (we all had doors or windows open). It was gruesome. I still watch football tho. 😂

Hader's Collinsworth is even less accurate. Really, the sketch isn't about a brilliant impersonation anyway so I don't see the point. We all remember Will Ferrell's completely accurate Alex Trebek impression, don't we?

Well this sketch was during Adam Driver's first hosting stint on January 16th, 2016. And this episode of SNL aired right after NBC did the actual NFC Divisional Playoff game between the Packers and Cardinals, which the Cardinals won in OT 26-20. And yea, Arizona had a very good team that year. 13-3, 2nd seed in the NFC, and made it to the NFC Title Game, despite getting blown out by Carolina.
@@wesleywhite2936 The crazy thing is that the 2015 Cardinals team were a much better team than the 2008 team that went to Super Bowl 43. The 2015 team just ran into the 15-1 Panthers in the NFC Title Game. But yea, they've been pretty much rebuilding the past few years.
