    As a kid living in Stepney Green London a friend of mine grandmother’s would look after me an old Jewish lady, and I remember my father lighting her fire on Saturday. We where Irish kinda bonded together but old Jewish men with beards would come once every week and sit and talk while she spoke with my Grandmother and this Rabbi reminds me of them all.

      Im in the process of converting to Judaism and thia is my favorite Rabbi! I was cleaning while listening and thought he said married people shouldn't be naked in front of one another. I was going to IMMEDIATELY rewinding the video. Then I heard him say that's not if you're married (apparently he was talking about people dating) he said if you're married let your hair down! This Rabbi us wonderful. I live in Rapid City SD and there is virtually no Jewish community here. I made the decision to move in the spring. I decided in Minneapolis. I then learned it remembered that he is in Minneapolis!

      My husband divorced me after 27 years marriage and 5 children. I didn't want useless flattery. I wanted him to find me attractive because men are more visual so I'd ask if he liked a certain hair do or make up. I was a military wife for 25 years and he deployed a lot. When my husband wasn't home men who weren't accompanied by their wives weren't admitted into my home barring a plumber or something. People laughed at me but I was raised to have not only self respect but respect for my spouse. When he left me for a girl he went to high school with I was devastated. I have MS and ended up in a nursing home fir a couple of months. That was 7 years ago. Had he not left me I wouldn't be converting more than likely. I don't think all men are bad and I have no animosity towards him. Life goes on. There are abusive and mean men and there are women who are gold diggers and big flirts. But that's not all. Just my opinion. ☺

    Is the heart similar to the brain?
    Armour, in 1991, discovered that the heart has its "little brain" or "intrinsic
    cardiac nervous system." This "heart brain" is composed of approximately
    40,000 neurons that are alike neurons in the brain, meaning that the heart
    has its own nervous system.
    How intelligent is the gut?
    In fact, the research - which was led by scientists at the University of Exeter
    in the United Kingdom - explains that our gut is capable of “storing” memories,
    and that a feeling of hunger can act as a sort of shortcut for making decisions
    that appear complex and calculated, but that is, in fact, driven by the proverbial
    “gut feeling.”
    In objective real life the brain is NOT the center or focal point of one's thinking
    but in white westernized society thinking is purposely regulated to the Amygdala
    the unstable part of the brain that is responsible for all the social ills the Rabbi
    speaks of and it is purposely set up to be that way.
    The only other creatures on earth who are regulated to thinking with just their
    brains are insects. So what exactly are white people? Humans or bugs? AHahaha

      @andygrace1093 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The action (of love) preceeding the love itself. Love, as a feeling, is very vulnerable and unstable.
      It's not appropriate for human to (and even God too) to worship love. The fundamental foundation of relationship is the IDENTITY that unify the both party; it's not the love. That's why instead of saying "I LOVE you", R Friedman rather saying "It's YOU, that I love".

    • @edmoran869
      @edmoran869 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If God loved everyone unconditionally, what would be the point of Isiah 66? Why would there be an eternal punishment for those that rejected him?
      If he loved everyone unconditionally, it wouldn't matter if they revered and worshiped him, it would not matter what choices they willfully made.
      God fully despises sin and cannot force his eyes to gaze upon it, so those that prefer sin over the God of righteousness cannot be loved unconditionally.

Jimmie asked if he liked his daughter and he replied he loved her. He said I didn't ask if you loved her but if you liked her. He then proceeded to explain why liking the one you marry is more important than loving them. Or as an old song goes, men are really simple, love is like a pimple, once you squeeze the the juices out it just fades away.

    Rabbi, I feel it is important to point something out here.
    The theme song from the sitcom "Married with children" and the show itself wasn't to teach us what love and marriage are. It wasn't referring to a proper state of being together.
    The show itself made a mockery of love and marriage, through normalizing dysfunction.
    People found it funny because on some level, by that point, almost every family had a form of dysfunction so they could relate to what they were seeing.
    And by making us laugh about it they "normalized" it, which made our consciences go, "Oh. This is ok. It's funny because it's not just me. It's normal for this to be happening."
    So it "normalized" the dysfunctional behavior we were seeing on the TV as well as within our own home within our conscience.
    It's called predictive programming.
    And the thing is... The amazing thing that Dylan Mulvany brought to the surface intentionally or not...
    Is that this concept of just "normalizing" what we like, but others don't is now seeded in our subconscious mind... Through predictive programming.
    His answer quite plainly to people who were uncomfortable with him pretending to be a woman while wearing tight leather shorts that revealed his "bulge" was...
    Well... Let's just "normalize" the bulge then.🤷
    But believe me when I say that the majority of things that have been "normalized" in our subconscious minds are anything BUT normal human behavior. 👍
    War. Dissension. Outbursts of wrath. Selfish pursuits for selfish purposes. Me, me, me.
    All of it is garbage.
    You can't work together when you are too busy working against each other in a competition to meet your needs or desires, right?
    So what is the answer then?
    I wish I knew. But I do know this... People can't change their ways when they can't see that they need to.
    Censorship doesn't JUST censor what is considered "bad".
    Censorship is also being used HUGELY to keep what IS good buried beneath the surface so VERY FEW CAN SEE.
    See, that the thing about science... Their ideals are geared towards getting results, with no proactive thinking whatsoever.
    It's just like HEY! This WORKS! Wooooo hooo! 🥳 And then they run with it.
    And it works for a while... Until something they never considered a possibility starts happening...
    They discovered they could program our subconscious minds through "television"...
    "tell-a-vision"...
    Not realizing if THEY could do it, once someone figured out what THEY were doing, they could simply begin telling a DIFFERENT vision, that would strongly impact and change the subconscious minds of all of those they have worked so hard to program. 🤷‍♀️
    OOPS. 😬😂
    A woman in a video I watched said there was a big difference between the atmosphere on TH-cam and Instagram. She said she preferred posting on TH-cam because of it.
    That's because the "vision" that is being told here on TH-cam is far different from the vision being told on the other social media sites.
    People should stop being so hard on TH-cam for censorship. They have to follow the "laws" too. Despite our circumstances and the hurdles they've had to jump over in this circus of social media, they've continued to allow enough good vision to be spread around to change the entire atmosphere.
    Just think about that for a minute.

    Love and Marriage go together like a Horse and Carriage 🙂 Yes the Show with Ed ONeil Married with Children mocked this ideal too. The PROBLEM is It is NOT LOVE... it is our Definition of Love. Most just see this word meaning strong affection and emotions.. which we can have at times.. but the real Definition is CARING and A CHOICE to take a vested interest in SOMETHING. Which means not Always enabling Evil or the fuzzy feelings all the time with it. hardly; it is exactly a feeling which may or may not be present and cannot be forced by any act of will. All one can in fact control is one's behavior and we all should.

      @donnasherwood283 Sounds like you're talking about attraction/lust/infatuation, which is commonly thought of as love, but we're not talking about that kind of love which is fleeting and often superficial.

    • @donnasherwood283
      @donnasherwood283 ปีที่แล้ว

      i am a 73 year old woman with a vast experience with men. I know the difference among all those things and love very clearly. I think many from your community mistake love for things such as respect affection and commitment to community mores and there is nothing wrong with that. I grew up with a community of greeks where many of the older generations had arranged marriages. Some grew in affection and regard and frankly kept the families together and a form of bond of affection came into play. I think of this as Fiddler on the Roof song where he wants to know if golda loves him. He knows the difference hoping it had evolved into that. There really are all sorts of stories in life and this topic cannot necessarily be reduced as handily as this wonderful rabbi attempts to do. I have loved and lost 4 men to deaths from the age of 25 and still feel intense love for them. My second husband was a man I married for reasons other than love he died in '14 and I still feel profound respect for him but it was never love. I do not think any connection i have made, and there have been quite a few, was either fleeting or superficial. @@TroublezAhead00

    • @elysejosephs7302

      @TroublezAhead00 but there still has to be some attraction, some spark that glues things together. If not, then you can basically marry anyone. I guess this is where the Rabbi is coming from. Orthodox marry by being matched, and often meet only a few times before they get married. In essence they know little to nothing about each other

    • @donnasherwood283
      @donnasherwood283 ปีที่แล้ว

      many from community would say they have "arranged" meetings not marriages. I think is a little disingenuous as my impression is immense pressure is put on the young to get married. As the ancient romans said "too much familiarity breeds contempt" so maybe this approach has some genuine value to it. Looking at the job our young in the west are doing with all the freedom in the world it may be more sensible. I knew quite a few from the greek immigrant community who had this arrangement and if one values the elusive "happiness" above all else outcome was mixed contempt, disappointment and anger often the result. But more true in our 50% divorce rates of today.@@elysejosephs7302

    Did he not make one being, with flesh and spirit: and what does that one require but godly offspring? You must then safeguard life that is your own, and not break faith with the wife of your youth. (Mal 2:15 NABO)
    While the translations vary, this one makes my point. We all have an eternal partner in life. The creation story is about the earth being created with a plan for salvation and restoration of those who have become corrupted by sin. The sin of Adam is prophetic of the sacrifice, which is made to justify the sentence.

She remarried and I stayed single and after reading the Bible and getting more understanding as there was a being telling me not to get married and I listened! She’s in adultery now and millions of people are in this category.
